That's certainly one perspective.

If only I had a record store that wasn't 30-40 minutes away.

It's really coming down to how badly I want a t-shirt. The bundles at the Anti store are 4 bucks cheaper with a dark blue instead of light blue shirt. The shipping fees of $11 seem exorbitant. Since I can get the iTunes preorder for $15 and the vinyl from Amazon for $24 all with no shipping costs, I would essentially be spending over $30 for a t-shirt once you add in shipping from Kung Fu or Anti.

I'm really not sure what I'm going to buy yet. The most tempting package to me would be one with the LP, Deluxe CD, and t-shirt. But nothing like that is available.

I like it a lot, too. Thanks solace!

Excellent album. Loving it more than their last one.

So far it's been pretty good as a free service I can use at work. Since I generally just listen to whole albums, the ads get on my nerves a little. But since I have trouble streaming MOG on my work computer, a free Spotify comes in handy. I also haven't come across any partial albums yet.

Psychedelic Horseshit - Laced Great album. The last half of it is nearly perfect.

I'm trying out the free version today. All I'm really hoping for is that it fills in some of the holes in overall content of my MOG subscription, which I prefer so far. The UI does feel a little half-finished. Are there really partial albums, though?

Has anyone tried it out yet? Wondering how the selection compares to MOG or Rdio.

Man, I loved Baseball Stars. I still have my old Nintendo, but lost that game. Maybe I need to mosey on over to ebay. -
I'm already tired of One Wing and especially Bull Black Nova. That's not the case with other songs I've already heard countless times and would want to hear again and again.

Is all the love for "Cars Can't Escape" just due to the fact that it's a rarity? Otherwise, I'm not sure why such an ordinary song can become so beloved.

Actually, listening to "Less Than You Think" in its entirety enhances "The Late Greats." I'm not saying it's worth listening to all the time, but I rarely skip it.

There isn't anything annoying about AGIB.

top 25 played songs on your iPod
bleedorange replied to Sweet Papa Crimbo's topic in Someone Else's Song
I would post my list, but it is mainly the soundtrack for Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer due to my 3-year-old daughter's insatiable appetite for it during the entire winter. -
For $9.99 a month on MOG, I've purchased the rights to listen to almost anything I want.

Wilderness - Wilderness Very good album, but they never followed it up with anything remotely as good.

I Might gets a review in Rolling Stone
bleedorange replied to Sweet Papa Crimbo's topic in Just A Fan
I understand all of that. Especially as it relates to movies. However, not everyone has the ability to see whatever they want whenever they want. They have to pick and choose and reviews from trusted critics become a convenient way to help many people cull their entertainment choices. Music criticism works in a similar fashion. For instance, I read reviews of almost every album that comes out each week from multiple sources. I don't pay much attention to the ratings, but it is highly beneficial as a way of understanding what albums I may like and what I don't need to bother with based o -

Still not sure why you think reading/discussing reviews and enjoying something on your own are mutually exclusive activities.
