    Close...technically my fave would probably be "The Whole Love", but "Wilco (The Album)" is most likely my second fave, & I've said, more than a few times here, "Sky Blue Sky" would take the bronze...clearly I have a penchant for the recent Wilco works...but...and this is HUGE...honestly it's splitting hairs for me...like, as I've also said many times before here...trying to choose a favorite album for The Beatles starting with "Rubber Soul"...I might say that I'd take "Being There" by a little over "A.M."     Hmmmm...don't think it's silly, just think that's how subjective opinions work. I could as easily say, with shock, that just because you like them that makes them, "one of the GREATEST artists in modern music, By FAR..."?!?!. But I'm sure it does, and well it should. For the record, I stated "I think"...meaning it's something subjective & personal...something I think, or I feel...not something I'm trying, by any means, to make some unequivocal statement/pronouncement/judgement from on high here about for all to follow, at all.     You know it's not that I hate Radiohead, or anything like that...but...although I know artists I love & admire, like The Flaming Lips & Jeff Tweedy solo, have covered songs of theirs...I have to say that I can find some good songs, but none that blow me away & not a single album that I'd call anything more than good...sooooooooooooo...I can say that not only do I think that they are the most overrated band in the world, I'll go a step further than that & say that I think they are the single most overrated artists in the history of modern music!!     It took late night coffee to get me through it...thankfully I don't have clients at my acupuncture practice tomorrow until 2:30 (but then I'm triple, or quadruple overbooked- good problem to have I guess & it allowed me to burn the midnight oil tonight!)...so I got to catch it all...& nice to see "Wilco Me" on the message board at re-broadcast time as well...all in all...what a gas, gas, gas!

Sorry for those who missed this one, as it was streamed live via youtube~ It was a much longer show today than yesterday's streamed online "festival" set from Belgium, & it was truly brilliant, as usual. I think they had close to 2 hours to play with...and chose to barrel through with only one encore & max. out as best they could with 25 songs. A usual full show, as of late, has been 27 songs and 2 & 1/4 hours long. They did 16 out of the 17 songs they did yesterday ("Misunderstood" is the only one done in Belgium, but not tonight), as well as 9 different additional song toni

    ? Hmmmm...I got the original news from here... http://viachicago.or...estival-stream/ I hope they are, but I don't know...I'll tune in just in case...& will watch later today... I'm thinking that the list on youtube is just a sampling...it appears that you can tune into any of the three stages...so Wilco is apparently on the Bravo/India Stage...but they might not be broadcasting all three, all the time...will have to wait & find out tomorrow...

    The Beatles, Wilco & Paul Simon all instantly spring to mind, as do Yo La Tengo & The Flaming Lips & Donna The Buffalo...& some great later career work from Tom Waits, Lucinda Williams, Bob Dylan & Paul McCartney as well...There are loads of artists who've done great later career work...

    Right you are (as usual)! The only non-festival date on this little European swing...so 23 songs now goes from being "Hey 23 songs for a festival set ain't too shabby..." to "You know they've generally be doing 27 songs and 2 & 1/4 hours long shows here..." ... I say that half-jokingly, as I'm sure there's wiggle room with how amped, or tired, they are, & where they've got to get to next (travel time, sleep time, etc.), etc..
