Well Lammy, this feud has put me in a tight spot. I cant hunker down and wait out the storm nor can I acknowledge agreement or disagreement with either party for fear of stoking the others fire. Like I said, a tight spot.

Sorry all you late comers but the Giving Tree Band's show this evening is SOLD OUT!

Two CD's that I picked up at an estate sale last weekend for $1 each...."Street Survivors" by Lynryrd Skynryd and "A Nod Is As Good As a Wink To a Blind Horse" by Faces. Both of those definitely qualify as classics.

Today the feud between my wife and my mother escalated to a new level!!

But she killed over 40 people!

Today the Cubs play the second game of the World Series.

Ya know, I would've watched some Cubs playoff games with my kids IF they were on regular ol' TV. Looks like the Cubs missed an opportune moment to make some new fans.....ah well, I'll just continue to regale the kids with tales from that glorious year, 2005.

Saw "Lets Scare Jessica to Death" the other day. An odd, spooky little horror flick from 1971. Really digging "Stranger Things" too. Soooo many 1980s references makes it that much more fun.

The Giving Tree Band perform as The Band this Friday night at the Law Office in Yorkville IL. 10 bucks. Better buy your ticket pronto because its almost SOLD OUT! This is gonna be so much fun, really looking forward to it.

Today my buddy was diagnosed with having a Brown Recluse Spider bite on his leg. He sent me a pic of it. Nothing like necrosis to turn the stomach. He was in central Indiana camping 1.5 weeks ago and figures he got it there.

That's what I said. Damn naysayers always trying to bring me down....
