Hey PT, I was at that Replacements show as well. I forgot that NRBQ and Material Issue opened. Side note...back then, I saw so many Material Issue shows in a relatively short period of time-Batteries Not Included, Metro, the lounge at UIC, etc. I used to see Ellison at the Gingerman wearing a leather jacket with a pool ball on the back. He never seemed like a happy guy.

Watched "Mandy", the new Nick Cage grindhouse flick, last night. Weird, psychedelic, slow, gory, hilarious...it's got it all. Spark a doob before watching.

Anyone watching Blackhawks hockey lately? The first period of Saturdays game was easily the most awful, absolutely hilarious period of BH hockey I've seen in a decade. Woah boy do the Hawks stink!

Btw, Bostrom is back full time. Sahm either moved to Europe or Bostrom pushed him out, don't know what the story is. I thought Sahm was a great drummer but Bostrom being back is cool too.

Today, my favorite progressive radio station, WCPT 92.5, was bought by K Love and immediately switched the programming to lite xmas crap. Damn you k love, damn you to hell!! At least the programming remains the same on 820AM. I needs my Stephanie Miller, Thom Hartman and Norman Goldman.

now limbaugh is saying that the word "conservative" has been tarnished and that people shouldn't be using that word any longer in describing their political beliefs. Perhaps the fact that this current administration has given the conservative ideology a mortal blow is seeping into his Oxy-addled mind. Who knows, just a thought.

That fat junkie limbaugh is in complete panic mode today over the Cohen guilty plea. I just listened to about 10 minutes of him spinning and lying. It gave me a few hearty laughs. He actually said that Mueller doesn't have any "honest perps" to put on the stand, that they "are all liars". He's referring to, of course, trump associates. Tick tock, dotard, better start making plans to flee the States.

Bobby Keys's autobiography is really good too. Made me appreciate his skills even more.

We watched Buster Scruggs over the weekend. Started out strong and just sort of petered out. We turned it off before the last chapter. Did it appear to anyone else that the format kept switching from video to film and back again? Anyhow, we did watch the last chapter last night, meh.
