  1. ohhhhh i love that song. doesn't he say he found it on a tape of songs he recorded around the being there era?
  2. score!! what's the frequency? (ahem...kenneth) Im in Albany, is there a chance I can pick the station up on my radio?
  3. I live upstate in albany and they played at skidmore college which is about 3 hours or so from NYC, not too shabby...
  4. me too. and only just recently too. wonderful song.
  5. as always i'm sure they will tour the u.s. in stages. a month or two of straight dates. than a few months off, than a month or so of more u.s. dates. than a few off and repeat etc. etc.
  6. they play "you know my name (look up the number)" enough said.
  7. wow. we must be in the lowest percentile of a minority i've ever seen.
  8. i've seen one of their concerts. They are so dead on it's not even funny. Any band that can pull off a note per perfect note rendition of strawberry fields or even the quick drum edit from the recorded version of yer blues is more than ok in my book.
  9. I am waiting for the album to be released, so I can sit around with some friends and take in the whole thing. the only song i've let myself indulge in is "what light" that was released via wilcoworld
  10. he shared the bill with my friends band some years ago in NYC got to meet him and such. great guy, wonderful music.
  11. you beat me to that one! Perhaps a blue grass version?
  12. I haven't heard the leaked album. I was wondering if they still plan to release one track today?
  13. thank you so much! I'm gonna download it when I get out of work. Is there a website that lists the singles from each album? I'd like to check out some more studio songs left off some of the albums. By the way I picked up Grand Prix yesterday and its AMAZING. Thank you all for the suggestions.
  14. I got around to picking up "thirteen" awhile ago and I will agree that it is a very worthy follow up to "Bandwagonesque" getting just the right balance of distortion and sweet harmonies. Thank you for the reccomendation. I was wondering if you can explain a bit more to me on some other albums. The first one, "A Catholic Education" is supposedly very darkier and "grungier" are the tunes catchy as well? Or had they not perfected there melodic sense yet that shows up on "Bandwagonesque"? You guys also pointed out that "Grand Prix" was a particuarly strong album? How does this sound in contras
  15. you should have seen people on this dylan forum I go to, after 20 seconds of each song leaked for "modern times". hundreds of people ripped apart an album that they hadn't heard more than 2 mins collectivley of. I will never understand people.
  16. john lennon (solo career) doing "we're just friends"
  17. fair enough. did what jeff say about interweaving guitarlines remincisent of television via him and nels come to fruition? thank you for taking the time to answer these...
  18. was jeff's assement on sky blue sky being similliar to being there accurate?
