This morning a young man fell to his death from Marina Towers (the building on the cover of Yankee Hotel Foxtrot). I work in the building across the street from Marina Towers and walked by the scene about 30 minutes after his body was discovered on State Street. His body was on the street covered by a tarp/blanket. Police haven't stated whether it was an accident or otherwise. It was sad and unsettling.

It was an illegal slide. Rizzo is a great player and, by all accounts, even a better person, but it was an illegal slide.

OCB: I was in Edinburgh this past weekend and listened to Frightened Rabbit while there and smiled thinking how much better it was to listen to Frightened Rabbit, Teenage Fan Club, Belle & Sebastian etc. while in Scotland. Sad news, indeed.
