Resurrected! Who cares if her music sucks, she rocks (not musically). She fancies herself a singer now, which gives me an excuse to post this amazing picture. Hmm, Scarlett.

That looks like a pretty good lineup. Too bad it's so far.
-
Good cd to put on in the background and ignore. I like it.

"I like to picture Jesus in a tuxedo T-Shirt because it says I want to be formal, but I'm here to party. " Sweet.
-
Apparently thats not the real lineup.
-
If it wasn't in California, I'd like to see this show.
-
Oh well. I'm still gonna buy a preorder ticket, because their lineups are always amazing.
-
Damnit, nobody ever comes down here. Any chance they tour during the summer?

I downloaded it on the strength of the lead single (which I actually love... ugh) and the fact that "Dance Dance" was one of the better singles of last year, and it's not nearly as bad as I figured it would be. I'll most likely never listen to it again, but it's not the worst thing in the world. I still want to knee their bassist in the face. He looks like he needs a good knee to the face. Though I find it weird that they have a Jay-Z clip to start off the album...

Wasn't sure where to put this, but here's an absolutely amazing performance of the new song "Intervention". God, these guys need to come to Florida. I'd definetly road trip to see them, though.
-
Well, we'll know for sure. But either way, I felt I should post it and see if anyone could confirm or deny it.
-
My friend sent it to me. Not sure where he got it. I'll ask next time he's on. It was leaked on wikipedia and then taken off soon after. Who knows if it's real.

Jeff talked about the new album tonight in Nashville

I'd take a South Florida show. I'd also go to a Tampa or Orlando show. -
Oh wow, listening to the leak I downloaded from Albumbase.com has a different version of the first song than the one on myspace, and the one I downloaded is alot better. Not even close, really... I don't like how distant the vocals sound on the official one.
-
I'd say the best song is the first one. Boy, what a track.

Alright, I've been looking for some new music, so I'm going to get (i.e. download) the first 10 cd's that are suggested in this thread. To give you an idea of what I've been listening to alot lately, the new Clap Your Hands album, The Boy Least Likely To, Neutral Milk Hotel's In an Aeroplane Over The Sea, and London Calling. So get to suggesting!

This is awesome. So much fun.

Obama seems too overtly political with his personality. Any candid interviews I've seen he seems extremely careful with what he says, for fear of offending anyone at all, where as Clinton seemed more loose. More fun.
-
Reminds me of Bill Clinton, with a lot less personality.
-
Is it because he's black?
-
Currently downloading this, about to finish and listen. Any thoughts on it thus far from you guys?

Despite the fact that the Democrats seem to be doing everything in their power to fuck up the Iraq situation (with the exception, strangely enough, of Ted Kennedy, who seems to be the only one with an idea of what to do), Obama is still by far their best shot at winning. Reminds alot of Bush in the run-up to the 2000 election, in that he didn't have much experience, but he really connected with the people.
