I'm not sure I how I feel about this book. It has almost no discernable plot, and I'm having the damndest time explaining it to people because I really like her writing style, and I love the characters, but since it has no plot, it feels like it isn't going anywhere and it doesn't seem to be in a terrible rush to get there. I'm definetly enjoying it though. What are her other books like?

I went with "Every Rose Has It's Thorn" because of that Chappelle's show skit.

Went on monday to pick this up, and I was surprised that my local FYE had it in stock. I picked up the only copy of it, along with Demetri Martin's cd. I may like this more than I like the Arcade Fire cd, even while I fully realize the AF is a much better cd and I will probably like that more in the long run, but right now this is all I'm listening.

Really enjoying the first 100 pages or so. Basically just picked it up at the bookstore because I needed something new to read, and I had no books that I planned on buying.

If anyone ever calls me homophobic, I can always pull the "I Have 3 gay uncles" line and there's really no comeback.

If they had used The Soul Patrol, it would already be a gold album.

That is a mostly useless tool, since it's simply the government owing itself money (which doesn't matter) or the government owing money to countries who owe money to us.

I'd love to see another show at the Carefree Theatre. When they played there in 2002 it was one of the best shows I've ever seen.
