I think of it as more of a state of being.

Dan Uggla and him are battling hard to be the captain of the Rob Deer All Stars team this July.

"Another Song" is a fucking great tune.

I had a to get a root canal a few weeks back, so at least one of my teeth is now rootless.

I want to learn to play this song on bass. It seems insanely fun.

Just got done listening to a live stream of the 2nd night of Solid Sound. They played 4 new songs, I think, and all of them were similarly upbeat. I'm liking what I've heard.

With the way the newspaper industry is right now, what's something like a lost series to get in the way of advertising revenue?

Do your siblings have the same musical taste as you?

We went seperate ways during high school, but once we got to college, my sister and I's music tastes converged pretty nicely. We've been to the last two Bonnaroos together, and we both became obsessed with the Gaslight Anthem at the same time. I even got her into Wilco. -
Got there too late for any of the exclusives, but I picked up a used copy of Seperation Sunday by the Hold Steady and the latest Kanye West album.

tomorrow night. Fuck, this snuck up on me. I don't have tickets yet, but there's no way it's sold out. I hope.

I can't stop watching, and it's making me sick. I need to go to sleep. Ugh...

Saw the first show of their tour on Wednesday night in Miami, really good show. Conor Oberst was dancing at one point, which was kind of weird. The band is very tight right now, and they played a really good mix of songs from every album. Needs more orchestral reprises.

Man, you can't do this to me. You can't tell me one of the best bands ever is releasing an album in 6 days. I need more time to prepare.

That was the best.

He's a much better three point shooter.

He's a better three point shooter at the expense of everything between the rim and the three point line. His FG% from Also, with regards to Griffin, he would be more dangerous if he could shoot the jumper, but then it just wouldn't be fair. He would be unstoppable.

I heard "One Wing" at Denny's the other day.

Blake is the one player I'd consistently pay to see.

Is it mean to say that his mom disqualifies him from the running for that title? It probably is.

Well, aesthetics are tough to argue. For instance, even though I know Dwyane Wade is a far better player, I preferred watching Michael Beasley play for the Heat last year from a purely aesthetic point of view. I just find his game incredibly pleasing, for all of the reasons I find Wade's boring; there's a methodicalness and preplanned nature to his greatness that turns me off, somewhat. So, with Odom, I could totally see that argument. There's a million things he can do on the court, he's super long and supremely coordinated, and he's extremely smooth. He's like LeBron James, but with some

Great show, where were you at? I was the 22 year old that made the stupid decision to purchase Southern Rock Opera on vinyl before the show started, and had to awkwardly hold it all night. I was dead center, 2nd person from the front.

Pesky numbers, ruining our well established conceptions about player's moral fibers with regards to their abilities to step up their game when it matters. I don't need numbers to know this is awesome though: http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/blog/ball_dont_lie/post/Video-Odom-spins-madly-on-the-Kings-hits-Pau-w?urn=nba-314113
