  1. it is my least favorite Wilco song... sorry.
  2. Went back and listened to both shows today... love the solo version of "Pieholden Suite" from night 1 as well. I've always loved "Reflections on a Crystal Wind" when he played it at his solo shows. He played "Blood of the Lamb" both nights... and i guess it was the debut of "Reservations" during night two. September 12,13 of 2000... 7 1/2 years have flown!
  3. i forgot about the may 00 show. i know i have it my stock. i think there is a great version of 'rock, salt, nails' on there.
  4. 1 and 2 were planned... 3 was a complete shock to all parties involved... appointment is set with a great urologist for early July to take care of the problem. As a Glenn enthusiast you'd love this show.
  5. impossible... Steam Engine The Way That He Sings One Big Holiday live: Lowdown solo: Golden (greatest acoustic performance ever!!!!!!!!!) any love for Sooner or Phone Went West?
  6. Lately I have been going back and listening to some of the older wilco/ tweedy shows i have collected through the years (i think my wife and i counted over 250). I have been spending a lot of time with the show from 12-17-00...Jeff and a shared performance with Glenn Kotche (who was this guy?). This was back in the day of trading, so i think i didn't get this show until early spring of '01, but that version of "Not For The Season" changed the way i listened to Wilco forever. Jeff just shreds the guitar and i would've loved to seen the faces of the crowd. "Cars Can't Escape" debuted here as wel
  7. Please DON'T play... "Don't You Honey Me". Could "Millionaire" make the cut... i don't think those lyrics fit Tweedy's life or Wilco's style today, so i couldn't imagine themplaying it. DREAM RARE TRACK --> full band version of "My Words"!!!!!!
  8. I loved the solo show that preceeded the last stand for Wilco at the ax. Those versions of Shakin Sugar, AOAF (i think i labeled it as Diet Coca-Cola at the time), and HMD were excellent. I believe he spoke about the writing of Pecan Pie that show as well... "while crossing the street from the Blockbuster" if my memory is correct. The band show was sloppy and beautiful. Back in the days of trading i was so pumped when i got those two shows... same can be said for the Park West shows. The set lists for those two shows were all over the place. He debuted A Magazine Called Sunset one of thos
  9. i am all over the songs i have heard from the dublin shows... tons of energy and passion... and boy has that been missing on their last three releases. some of Up was okay (walk unafraid, sad professor) but i threw Reveal out the window after two listens... likewise to ATS.
  10. Closers: any Nite 1-4: Being There r-n-r classics! RE&B, IGY, Monday, Outtasite, DIMD Nite 5: Jesus, etc. (Huge sing a long version)

  12. AM: Box Full of Letters (i know thye have played it some recently, but this song has a special place in my heart) BT: Hotel Arizona (i hope they jack the guitar work up... always loved this song live during the ST tour) ST: ELT (lots of guitar and keyboard work... should be fun) MAs: Airline to Heaven (this song has always been in my Wilco top 5) YHF: Poor Places (can't get enough) AGIB: ALTWYS (missed this track over the past year since it hasn't been played at all) SBS: Side With The Seeds (this track live is always Wilco at their best)
  13. candyfloss would be cool along with summerteeth as well... would love to hear elt turned up with some burning guitar work.
  14. less than you think--> spiders would be cool just like the new years eve show from a few years ago.
  15. that paints a really cool imagine in my head...
  16. i am sure many of these topics will be created b/f Feb, but which songs would you like to hear open the set each nite? Nite 1: What's The World Got In Store Nite 2: I Must Be High Nite 3: I'm Always In Love Nite 4: Poor Places --> Reservations --> IATTBYH --> Kamera (i know that is four songs but i loved when they opened with those tracks in the past) Nite 5: Airline To Heaven
  17. i hope tomorrow goes better on the radio pre-sake b/c today's experience sucked.
  18. sweet Lord... this sounds incredible. Cannot wait to hear the Mermaid tracks again live... and this line ups take of Feed of Man. Dreamer In My Dreams and the Summerteeth tracks will be great. It says Wilco catalog... but i would love to hear them tear up We've Been Had. Does this mean that Leave Me Like You Found Me will finally be played?
  19. Maybe another Grammy nite performance in Birmingham... it seemed to bring some luck last time!
  20. Tour thru June Well needed break thru July to work on their tans Meet up in the loft in Augist and to add tracks to the songs left over from SBS Jeff will throw in some solo shows here and there in the midwest Recording process will be quick... and... we'll get a double record on 12/30... HAPPY NEW YEAR!
  21. best: seeing jeff solo in birmingham and the 'rainy' atlanta show. my wife went to both shows and she had not been to a show with me since the roxy in '01. missed: not being there in person to hear 'too far apart' and not being there at the 10/20 show... that might be my favorite bt download ever! the crowd sounded fantastic signing out loud to ever track. plus i had hoped for a release of sbs demos... oh well.
  22. the three that i have cared about: 1. the National - Boxer 2. Wilco - SBS 3. Spoon - Ga, etc.
