I think Fox IS the mainstream media. They have the largest market share, and therefore, for many people, they are the "fair and balanced" alternative to the loony, liberal left. Unfortunately, the loony liberal left may include not only MSNBC but also CNN, CBS, ABC, PBS, and just about every internet provider, like Yahoo, AOL, etc., etc. In other words, it's a world of Fox + conservative bloggers vs. pretty much everybody else. Sorry, I didn't answer your question properly the first time. I don't think there is a good site for reviews of all the shows, no idea. I just googled the name of the town or the venue and looked for reviews from local news outlets. Your post really mirrors my own experience. I was an independent for years, until I moved to Florida and learned you can't vote in primaries here unless you register with a party. Obama could lose FL, OH, & VA, and still win if he picks up CO, NV and IA. It would be a very close 272-266 margin. Romney's path still looks pretty narrow unless he gets most of the swing states.
