  1. This is the second time that someone can see something on Nugs that I can’t. The other incident was show notes for the latest show that showed up blank in the app. I just chalked that up to it not being available yet on the app, but on the website. Re: Montclair - When I click on show notes in the app, I only see “Second set is an acoustic performance. Read more about the show here.” And there’s no link there. Funnily enough on the website it doesn’t even mention “read more about the show here”. I was checking for a new show today because there was a FB post this past August that mentioned a new Wilco show on the last Wednesday of every month. I knew that new shows seemed to appear near the end of a month, but didn’t know of a particular day of the week until I saw that post. Anyways, I now see a show that pops up under the apps new show listings. It’s a show from July 21, 2009 in Royal Oak, MI.
  2. I did some detective work to see which new show was released to Nugs today and it looks like they dropped the 2 shows from Montclair, NJ in April 2010. I haven’t seen any official announcement today on social media, but I don’t recall seeing either of these before.
  3. Paul reached out to me after he heard back from Spencer regarding that mystery song. It is something that Jeff has been working on.

Reincarnation (Roger Miller cover) Correction: “Sorry” is an unreleased song that Jeff has been working on. Thanks to Paul Suwan for the scoop straight from Spencer.
  6. I’m just seeing this thread now, but I had an issue too. I’ll take you back to a few years ago to set the scene. Something happened with my password on here and I couldn’t log on, so I reached out to Donna who gave me a new user name which was the first letter of my first name with my last name. However, when I logged in back then, it still showed my screen name as u2roolz. Cut to whenever this change occurred and I had to log on, so I used exactly what Donna had set up for me. It didn’t work with the username (first letter of my first name & last name), so I used my screen name u2roolz and that worked fine. So Neuroglue is exactly right.
  7. I loved Criminal UK’s 1st season. I forgot that season 2 was released last week. The reason I posted was to ask you the important question: are you watching Dark with the subtitles or dubbed in English? I really want to check that one out. I watch everything that I can with subtitles. It’s the best. Lots of times it’ll tell you the artist & name of a song.
  8. There’s also a virtual book tour event with Norah Jones. Each event ticket purchase includes a signed bookplate along with a copy of the book. Anyone ever have issues with signed bookplates? Does the adhesive still stick?

  10. Great find! It caught me off guard, so I didn’t do a Google check. I’ll update it in the recaps. Thank you!
  11. Thank you for the kind words, Donna! It should be noted that I used the wrong link for Susie’s cancer fundraiser. Sorry if that caused any confusion for anyone trying to donate. Somehow I found the link for the one from 2018. (Insert Homer Simpson’s “D’oh!”) That error has been fixed. Thank you to Susan Miller Tweedy for noticing the error. One of the more surreal sentences that I’ve typed out in this forum. 2020...am I right?

  13. It’s truly excellent to see a report from Paul in this space. It was a terrific show that I enjoyed from the comfort of my living room. Someone over in the FB group snagged a setlist and it had Ten Sentences in between Having Been Is No Way To Be & Guaranteed. That was the only difference.
  14. The overall quality was excellent. I couldn’t see anyone in the crowd, but I expected that. They could do only so many different camera angles given the limited space. It’d be worth a watch if you were there and want to relive the experience.
  15. The tourgigs website recently updated the start time from 6:30pm CST to 8:00pm CST. Can’t wait!

  21. Lyrics for the new record are available on the Bandcamp app. I haven’t checked the website to see if they have them too.
  22. RE: Half Asleep - I’ve been listening to a few of the songs and I noticed that the first line in “When You Need Me I’ll Be There” is “half asleep all your dreams come alive”. You can check out Kate Vassos’ video. Todd Leopold has the song listed as “No One But You”. I’ll leave my list unchanged just in case.
  23. Great list, knotgreen! We like lists, so I had a running list on my iPhone of all of the unreleased songs that he’s done on The Tweedy Show. I reorganized it to fit the album sequencing. I placed episode numbers and a few notes here and there. And songs with quotes around them means that they are untitled. You might find them with a different title under YouTube user Todd Leopold. (Don’t mind the spacing. It looked too compressed without it.) Love Is The King Opaline (Ep 64/Ep 75) A Robin Or A Wren (Ep 3/Ep 39/Ep 83) Gwendolyn (Ep 60/Ep 61/Ep 79) Bad Day Lately (Ep 40/Ep 62) Even I Can See f/k/a By Her Side (Ep 42/Ep 61/Ep 83) Natural Disaster (Ep 10/Ep 84/Ep 88) Save It For Me (Ep 1 recording/Ep 13/Ep 15/Ep 50/Ep 56/Ep 63/Ep 76/Ep 91) Guess Again (Ep 6/Ep37/Ep 64/Ep 96) Troubled f/k/a I’m Troubled (But The Trouble’s Still Me) (Ep 42) Half Asleep Notes: Troubled was played during a solo Jeff Tweedy show in Spokane, Washington on September 26, 2018. Paul (bbop) gave it the title I’m Troubled (But The Trouble’s Still Me). According to Jeff on episode 42 of The Tweedy Show, it “cannibalizes” lyrics from An Empty Corner & Oprhan. Wilco single May 2020 Tell Your Friends (Ep 29) Jeff Tweedy song September 4, 2020 on Bandcamp benefit compilation Whisper (Ep 47/Ep 72) Wilco unreleased outtake from Ode To Joy Half Life (Ep 30) Jeff Tweedy unreleased poem for someone to add music to Grandma’s A Cyborg Now [poem] (Ep 4) Still unreleased I’d Rather Be Alone (Ep 2/Ep 66) “Baby, You’re So Miserable”(Ep 5) “Cold Water Falling” (Ep 46 electric/Ep 48 acoustic) “Inside A Heart, Outside A Heart” (Ep 57) “Please Be Wrong About Me” (Ep 81) “When You Need Me I’ll Be There” (Ep 81) Ha! When I posted this, I didn’t see Freedy’s post. We must’ve been posting at the same time.
  24. Thank you for the kind words! Yes, it does seem like a long time ago.
  25. Someone posted the album cover in one of the threads on the Shot In The Arm group. I’d post it, but I can’t seem to upload photos from my iPhone onto VC anymore. Edit: Ah! I see that RainDog found the cover. Nice!
