  5. This is an awesome show! Listened to it tonight with a thunderstorm going on in the background. I’m sure most people will recognize that this show took place 3 weeks before that legendary Vic show that’s been immortalized on YouTube.
  6. I’m looking forward to reading this for some more background on Cliff Booth, but I’d really prefer the rumored 4 hour extended cut which might hit a streaming service at some point. It’s extremely cool that Tarantino wrote this. I’m just old enough to remember these novelizations. I had a few of them for some 80s films.

  10. I wonder when it will be on Nugs. I’m kinda hoping that it isn’t the June release for Wilco. We’ll find out next week. That would seem a bit anticlimactic, but I do like the idea of having it included in my subscription.
  11. I have not. My local record store closed a few weeks before Record Store Day, so I never got a chance to find a copy.
  12. It looks like Elton John is extending his “farewell” tour in the U.S. with stadium dates. There were some teaser posts for each venue over social media today. It came to my attention when I noticed a post earlier today on the Gillette Stadium FB page mentioning a big concert announcement tomorrow. It had Elton’s “E” on the grass. Similar posts were seen in Charlotte, Detroit, Syracuse and Los Angeles. I’m curious how tickets will sell, since he’s been on this farewell tour for a long time. It picks up again in the states in January of 2022 and continues through April. I’m guessing th

  17. Thank you for filling in, Monty! I appreciate it. Awesome job! As I’m sure you might recall, Please Be Wrong was played once before way back on episode 81. I believe last night was the first time that Jeff us the title. And Pittsburgh does sound familiar. I’d have to listen to that one again with my list of untitled songs in front of me to see if any lyrics match up.

  19. Hey! I looked through my notes and filtered it to She‘s A Jar and the song only came up in 3 episodes: 35, 122 & 175. The last time that he played it it was for someone’s wedding which brought about lots of “concerned” comments from the clients. Maybe that’s when he discussed the song in that manner. Maybe you’re right and it was in an earlier episode. I didn’t write live recaps until about a week or so into it.
