I think we have the makings of a delightful online concert party here.....did I mention, grass hula skirts to the left, tasseled lampshades to my right here....and right behind me, the togas! Amusing drinks served in coconuts and pineapples will be found in the Via Chicago Forums Bar (follow that hallway & go left)....they come with those way cute little paper umbrellas! Help yourselves! -

Nick sounds wonderful! -
Love your story, Autumnteeth. That's absolutely heartwarming stuff!

I've never bought from scalpers and I never will...I don't want to toss one dime toward supporting those bottom-dwelling slime-slurpers. Sweet Melinda's post is well stated and she backs her argument with examples from personal experience, so she obviously knows whereof she speaks. That said though, and speaking personally, not everyone can afford to wait until the last minute to arrange tickets...there may be children to arrange a sitter for, or work schedules to be re-arranged and possibly a day (or days) off to be taken, and of course if a person is traveling to a show, those travel costs

Go Sammy go! Hahaha, that was great.
-
Thanks for the video! That was great. And I concur with your last statement, totally. Like the am/pm minimart slogan, "Too much good stuff!"
-
Did it work in chrome then? I can't get it to play.

My oldest son, Tom, passed his orals with flying colors today. How proud can a mother be?! As proud as I am, I guess.(So proud!!! ) He's officially a Ph.D. candidate now! "Thomas R. Murphy, B.S. Ph.D. Candidate Dept. of Cell Biology and Neuroscience UC Riverside" You're amazing, Tom! You always have been. xo!

How really sad. That poor creature...just out minding its own business and that fool couldn't leave it alone. Snakes have a right to live too.

It's known in your heart but don't feel it in your soul

If you are considering purchasing tickets through this forum, please proceed with reasonable caution. If anyone tries to ask for a ticket price beyond face value (and any fees), they are scalping. If you see this, please report it to the staff of Via Chicago. We do not allow scalping and will remove the account of anyone found scalping. Via Chicago is not responsible for any money lost in a ticket exchange. Buyer beware. That said, we do not often hear of problems, and many tickets have successfully found their way into needy hands through this forum. So treat each other fairly & enjoy

Agreed. He's ocean-water-wet, he's peed himself from fear of the mutiny and also being unable to get to a bathroom. Also he's all wind-lashed. I pity the fool.

Welcome to Via Chicago! I tend to agree with your last sentence. (Not counting "Period." as a sentence. )

Oh man Paul, you are killing me...I can't be at any of the shows with Nick opening!"Heart"? "Ragin' Eyes"?! "Long Limbed Girl"? "Raining, Raining"? "Cruel to Be Kind"? "(What's So Funny 'Bout) Peace, Love and Understanding??!!! (A lot of people don't even realize that one is his, originally, from his Brinsleys days.) What an incredible set. Now toss in "All Men Are Liars' and I'm totally content. I think its been about since '79 that I heard him do Heart live. What a terrific show this double bill must've been. Thanks for writing down Nick's setlist!
-
You heard right. I love that line.
-
They have a lot to smile about right now!
-
Couldn't agree more. John's bass lines are wonderful twisty staircases to clomp up and down in boots.
-
No one could have said it better. This.

Thanks for posting! That must've been a helluva show.
