If you are considering purchasing tickets through this forum, please proceed with reasonable caution. If anyone tries to ask for a ticket price beyond face value (and any fees), they are scalping. If you see this, please report it to the staff of Via Chicago. We do not allow scalping and will remove the account of anyone found scalping. Via Chicago is not responsible for any money lost in a ticket exchange. Buyer beware. That said, we do not often hear of problems, and many tickets have successfully found their way into needy hands through this forum. So treat each other fairly & enjoy

Agreed. He's ocean-water-wet, he's peed himself from fear of the mutiny and also being unable to get to a bathroom. Also he's all wind-lashed. I pity the fool.

Welcome to Via Chicago! I tend to agree with your last sentence. (Not counting "Period." as a sentence. )

Oh man Paul, you are killing me...I can't be at any of the shows with Nick opening!"Heart"? "Ragin' Eyes"?! "Long Limbed Girl"? "Raining, Raining"? "Cruel to Be Kind"? "(What's So Funny 'Bout) Peace, Love and Understanding??!!! (A lot of people don't even realize that one is his, originally, from his Brinsleys days.) What an incredible set. Now toss in "All Men Are Liars' and I'm totally content. I think its been about since '79 that I heard him do Heart live. What a terrific show this double bill must've been. Thanks for writing down Nick's setlist!

You heard right. I love that line.

They have a lot to smile about right now!

Couldn't agree more. John's bass lines are wonderful twisty staircases to clomp up and down in boots.

No one could have said it better. This.

Thanks for posting! That must've been a helluva show.

I do not recognize this line.

Let's just get back on topic. This argument is inane.

That's it, yer outta here. Actually I wasn't sure how to word the "rules" of this thread...that to me is one line. All one "sentence", one thought. You can stay for now.

Oh yeah, I'm addicted to that line. So seductive and quietly intense!

I know that for all of us, myself included, the memories and repercussions of that day go too deep for words. In my heart I remember the victims who should still be among us, living out their lives. In my heart I honor all those rescuers who set aside their own personal safety to do something, anything, to help in the aftermath. My children were still children then. My daughter was in kindergarten, my middle boy was in 5th grade, and my oldest son was in his freshman year of high school. Now I have a HS sophomore, a college sophomore, and my oldest is in grad school, doing research, and enga

I'm sorry Crow. Patience never was my strong suit.

One line per post. My knees do the same.

"I'm simple as a matter of fact / punch in the nose, don't overreact"

I can't help it if I fall in love with you again I'm calling just to let you know it dawned on me I'm calling it one line since it's all sung in one long breath.

Oh yeah, I love that one! And: "Past the gate, desert keeps forming"

Poor Lotti. At least the memories are warm. Now stop derailing my thread.

The Whole Love has been dazzling me lyrically. Here are the rules for this thread: you may post only one line you love from The Whole Love. No need to tell why or even what song it's from. If you are still guessing at the lyrics, it's ok to post what you think you're hearing. I'll start. "Are you awake, now, too?" Now you. One line.

I agree too. There's so much joy & love & redemption & triumph going on in this album. What a tonic for our troubled times! Pain doesn't make greatness.
