  1. I did...then click on The Current from the dropdown? i get a "waiting for" message that eventually goes away with nothing ever starting up.
  2. I can't get the live stream to start. Anybody else having trouble?
  3. I don't have a clue. I've put my crack investigative team to work on it, Drew.
  4. Michael, I came on here intending to move your post to the ticket exchange forum, but I've decided to leave it where it is since it isn't an exchange but rather a gift. Generous of you to want these tickets to go to a deserving home! I hope someone will see this and get to enjoy the show...I'd be interested myself if it weren't many states away from me. Let us know how it works out!
  5. I was just coming on here to say I had found out the same. I was actually hoping that was "Nope"...that name somehow totally fits the sound and the feel of the song. I can't wait to pick apart the lyrics. What I caught were great!
  6. That song stopped me dead in my tracks! How great, how fun was that! I said to my husband, laughing, "He's channeling his inner Dylan!" Yet it was utterly, absolutely Tweedy. I wondered for a minute whether it could be a cover of some song I didn't know, but it was too "Jeff" to have been anyone else's.
  7. How sweet was that, ending up with that stunningly gorgeous "I'm the Man who Loves You"?! Happy Anniversary, Jeff and Susan! After that I was so sucked into the music that I didn't comment...just enjoyed. Jeff was really in finest form tonight. He just gets better.
  8. New Madrid still gets me every time. That was funny with the "robot camera" startling him!
  9. Sorry folks, I meant to post this earlier and forgot. It's been an interesting Day One! As I said in the thread last week regarding the RNC, please do your damnedest to keep the conversation civil, since there are bound to be differing opinions and there aren't many opinions more fiercely held than political opinions! Keep it respectful, and thanks. So how about that Sanders speech?! The speech of his lifetime, I think. Powerful and passionate and (as hard as it must have been) unifying! Made me proud to be a Sanders supporter.
  10. Good calls! We ought to burn this collection to disc sometime..."Summer Wilco"
  11. Thank you for that hey-o, and I don't blame you for taking a miss on his speech.
  12. Speaking of a drone, is anybody watching Trump's acceptance speech? *baddah-bing!* Thanks folks, I'll be here all week! .
  13. Yes, I'm sure that was what went through the minds of the drivers around me.
  14. Which song do you figure will be the poppiest? I'm going with Normal American Kids.
  15. Ah, the drone. Fun to turn up a bit loud at stoplights while driving, to share with other drivers. Or maybe it was just my response to the relentless car boom boxes that were everywhere then, thumping through neighborhoods so loud that you couldn't hear yourself think. The drone sounded mellow by comparison.
  16. Chickens scratching in a yard always seem so content. I wish i lived where I could keep a few. Reminds me of the old joke about the car pulled over for apparent drunk driving, but when the patrolman approaches there's no driver. In reply to his question, one of the drunks calls out, "Weren't none of us driving, ossifer, we were all in the back seat playing cards!" Ok well it's funnier when it's told right. And also when it doesn't describe your country going off the rails.
  17. I think you are exactly right as to his motives. I thought that was a strange inclusion too, but then their entire roster of speakers has been pretty bizarre. Maybe she was included because they needed another female to "appeal to the women voters"? Yes, funny that Cruz took his own sweet time not endorsing The Donald.
  18. Wow, that got dark fast. I don't see that at all myself. Can't a guy be a bit grouchy about some daily stuff without it meaning he's breaking up the band? This seems to come up every now and again. So far it's been nothing but a rumor among fans. I think the band is in a super happy place right now.
  19. Ok, here are the new song titles: Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is this: choose a song* (*Excepting the 2 that we've heard, "Locator" and "If I Ever Was A Child"). Now, tell us how you envision that song. Go into detail, from your imagination. Does "Nope" strike you as a brash, kickass "I'm a Wheel" sort of song? Or is it more along the lines of a gorgeous, yearning thing that reminds of "She's a Jar"? Wheel or Jar? Or nothing like either? What does your imagination say, from the titles alone? Go ahead and weigh in with your speculations! The real fun will begin when we ac
