After a hard drive failure, I am not a firm proponant of backing up. I had backed up my iTunes music back in May, so restoring my iTunes file was really not much more than a time sink.

Older tracks that don't "work" anymore

I am so done with the singalong. It mignt well be the centerpiece of YHF and Jeff can't do any better by it than a fucking singalong. HATE IT. -
I've noticed a bit of disdain for Pat's role in the band. I might note that he had apparently been heavily involved with the production of the new record. Just saying

The first songs that come up when you hit "Random"
Sweet Papa Crimbo replied to PopTodd's topic in Someone Else's Song
Kind of reluctant to post this now (after the comment about "random gods"), but I had a really long down period this afternoon when all I had to occupy my time was the iPod. Here is what I listened to while I was incapacitated. 1. Come on (Let's Go Tonight) --- Bruce Springsteen (The Promise) 2. Supernatural Radio --- Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers (She's the One) 3. You Never Know --- Wilco (Live, 10/9/2009 The Paladium Dallas) 4. Detroit Medley --- Bruce Springsteen (Piece De Resistance) 5. Demon --- Keith Richards (Main Offender) 6. I am a Man of Stone --- The Toadies (No Deliverance) -
You know dude, there is a great big, wide, world outside of the Windy City.

How so? It was an irritatingly long, unplanned and fully avoidable road trip and the list is what came up. -
You know...people raised hell with me and I had to quit the board for a while when I had PICTURES as a part of my sig.

Didn't want A-man to be the only one to dig up four year old threads...plus, it was a joke that made me laugh. Life is short

Two Middle Eastern mothers are sitting in a cafe chatting over a plate of tabouli and a pint of goat's milk. The older of the mothers pulls a bag out of her purse and starts flipping through photos and they start reminiscing. 'This is my oldest son Mohammed. He would be 24 years old now.' 'Yes, I remember him as a baby' says the other mother cheerfully. 'He's a martyr now though' mum confides. 'Oh, so sad dear' says the other. 'And this is my second son Kalid. He would be 21' 'Oh, I remember him,' says the other happily, 'he had such curly hair when he was born'. ' 'He's a martyr too' says mum

There really wasn't a satisfying conclusion to the whole Time Lord business. I would love to see Jon Sim as the Master again. -
I must stay that this does not surprise me. She was talented, but she was surely dancing with the devil for the last several years. The uncharitable side of me wonders when Pete Doherty will make a miscalculation.

Not ever remotely close. East Texas is the western frontier of the old south. It was largely settled by outlaws, renegades and the like fleeing the jurisdiction of the United States in the Early 1830's. Therefore there is more than a bit of an ant-authoritarian streak there.
