I got no problem with this list. The remarkable thing is that 6. and 7. are still better than the best of most of the other bands I listen to.

Not really impressed with Nels contributions. Ambient sounds. However, I was really chuffed by Tinariwen.

Even though I've had a copy of THE TIES THAT BIND (aka THE POWER STATION), I downloaded the remastered version tonight. IT SOUNDS SPECTACULAR. Sounds like it is ready for commercial release. Spectacular. Well worth the effort if you are a Bruce fan.

Flynn and Wayne are legends in the Brucetramp world. I am sure the remaster is something to look forward to. There is als a version of "This Hard Land" (a purported early version of Born in the USA) which is floating around. Bruce has made several decisions concerning the release of his material which, in retrospect, may not have been the best choice.

Congratulations Kiddo! Having been in the newspaper business for 15 years, I can say that I have seen a WORLD of changes. Sports Departments are now a mix of old warhorses and energetic kids with potential. Doing more with less, and then push for more. I hope you keep plugging away.

I feel the same way. I wasn't really all that in love with Exile anyway. The remastered release and the extras did absolutely NOTHING to improve it for me.

Well...how do you feel about "Misunderstood" or "Let's not get carried away"? I view Jeff as an unreliable narrator with respect to the persona assumed in these songs.

I think Pat's hand is all over this, and if this is any indication, it is a great thing. He and Jeff do appear to have a very good working relationship.

I can imagine that this one is a hit with teh college crowd...(watching with enhancement from the friendly herb would seem as natural as listening to Pink Floyd was when I was in college)

I've been listening to the Beatco mix lately, and I've got to say that the Wilco songs really hold up taken in this context. I have always loved the YHF songs, and listening to them juxtaposed with the Abbey Road songs brings out a gravitas and weight that allows them to stand alongside those Beatles Classics.

Looks nice...guess I'll be shelling out some bucks too.
