I finally watched "Friend of Eddie Coyle" last nite. Great flick with the added bonus of early '70s Blackhawks hockey being shown. Helmets, who needs 'em?

Good flick! I havent seen that one since the late 80s, its going on the netflix list.

I went to the GD's first show at Deer Creek. We got there the night before and slept in a farmers field nearby. In the morning we were woken up by a county sheriff who was kind enough to move us on our way to the show. The same cop woke us up again in the parking lot after the show.

Rock Johnson has some flair to it.

BINGO....we have a winner! For some reason, I thought Obama was different. The last 6 months proved me dead wrong. He sided with the status quo......and I couldnt be more disappointed. I'm done supporting any major political party.

So, I saw the Meat Puppets at Shubas on Sunday 5/31. When I bought the tix a month ago, I somehow had the idea that this weekend was Memorial Day weekend so I went for the Sunday show, instead of Saturday which I would've normally gone for. Turns out that karma or Fortuna or whomever was watching out for me because Shubas lost power on Saturday nite and the MP's show was officially cancelled at midnight. I watched "The Proposition" recently due to someone in this threat giving it high marks. Wow, were you right on, thank you, that was one wicked film!
