It's been two days and I can't believe no one has said this, but Milito's second goal was amazing. I actually felt sorry for that poor Bayern defender being made to look like so bad. And I still can't believe that the championship was actually shown on network TV here in the States.

$45 ? I know that relatively speaking that this is an affordable ticket price, but it still seems kind of pricey for an out-door, GA show in a less than ideal venue. But then again I've never seen a show in a minor league ballpark before (I still regret not seeing Willie and Dylan at the ballpark in Grand Rapids a few years back) so what do I know? I will probably end up going to this show since it is being billed as the sole midwest gig this summer. They just better break out a set-list like the one down in Australia w/ Laminated Cat and KT.

During the first period intermission of the Wings/Sharks game, they announced that long time voice of the Tigers Ernie Harwell passed away. He had been battling cancer the past few months, so this is not suprising. It still sucks though. To countless Michigan residents, he will always be the voice that meant that Winter was over and nice weather and the Tigers were coming.

Does watching LOST tonight instead of listening to the Wilco webcast make me less of a Wilco fan? Because if I had missed this episode, I would have been pissed. I hope next weeks episode has some more Desmond to it, because that is the storyline that I want to see more of. Desmond has the answers (if he is not in fact the answer).

Isn't the conventional wisdom that the flash sideways is the alternative timeline of what occurred after the H-bomb detonated in 1977 and picks up when Oceanic flight lands in LA in 2004? And isn't what we are seeing on the island w/ Flocke, Jack, Widmore, Des, etc. taking place in 2007? If this is so, how could the flash sideways be what happens after Flocke succeeds in escaping the island in 2007 when what we are seeing in the flash sideways occurred 3 years prior. Unless of course the series finale moves the flash sideways forward 3 years to a really big ending.

As a Michigan alum, it pains me to say this, but Izzo is one hell of a coach. How he got this Sparty squad into the Final 4 is amazing. I can't wait until he retires or goes somewhere else.
