  1. Holy crap that was amazing. Especially Kane's breakin' moves.
  2. He played it with the whole band. It sure is a tear jerker, isn't it? And thanks Sarah!
  3. And we might be driving 8 hours to Pittsburgh on our anniversary to catch them again!
  4. I'll be at a Decemberists concert so I think I'll have to do some research on how Chimbley Sweeps are supposed to dress.
  5. Thanks for that, I'm in serious withdrawal now.
  6. I'm thinking of how I can see them again next week.
  7. I know you've all been dying for me to put up my Truckers pics....okay, maybe just one of you was. They're in the After The Show forum.
  8. Drive-By Truckers 09.20.06 I have Jason's pick from the show that's clearly visible in my favorite picture of him with the cigarette in his mouth. I've never ever had the desire to take a souvenir from a show before.
  9. That's not the right setlist, I think that's from Boston the night before. They hardly played any of the same songs in Northampton. Damn, I want to go to the Webster in NYC tonight now.
  10. Your secret's safe with me. May have been mine but there were a couple other people with cameras in front too. For the record, I don't usually use flash when I'm standing right in front of a band, but after I saw other people doing it and the guys didn't seem to care I started using it. I swear Patterson held his poses for me a couple times too.
  11. Hey, I was there too. Right up front. Can't hear a damn thing today, but it's so worth it. I'll be posting my pictures tonight, I got some good ones. Sorry I can't help with the setlist though, I never remember them.
  12. No, I don't think I'm scheduled to go back there for a while. I wish it wasn't such a haul for us to get there or else I think I'd be there once a week. It's one of my two favorite places to see bands. We will be in NYC on the 29th to see Peeping Tom at Irving Plaza.
  13. 4.75 x 4.75, if you're anal like me.
  14. Yeah, but I think that came out while the show was still on, or at least right after it ended, so I'm sure there was more interest in the release back then that would warrant the licensing. I can't think of too many songs on there, come to think of it. There's been a petition online for years trying to get the whole series released, you'd think that would tell them something about the level of interest people have in purchasing a DVD set.
  15. I have 6 VHS tapes with every episode that I bought from ebay many moons ago but they're like 19th generation taped-from-TV ones that are nearly unwatchable in some spots. There was only one official VHS release but it only has a handful of sketches.
  16. They were fantastic. I was so happy to hear such a heavy nod to Vivadixie.... because it's still my favorite album. I was afraid he'd want to overload the set with the new album and It's A Wonderful Life. The new songs sound great though, and the crowd was so responsive we were treated to 3 1/2 encores. Oh, and the "Nina" on the setlist was Nina Persson from The Cardigans.
  17. You'd think I would be since I was in high school when the show was on and not many people younger than me would have a clue about the show aside from the post State work the cast has done. I guess I was the target demographic the first time around.
  18. So basically we have to buy the episodes on iTunes to show that they're in demand enough for us to buy them on DVD. Fuck that.
  19. Wow, that's terrible. I just saw them about a month ago and he looked okay and sounded great. Major vibes to him.
  20. That's it. One or two songs would have been nice, but across the whole album her identical harmonies make the songs sound the same.
