I scored three for the first row as well! Very quick and easy transaction!

Wow... please tell me a recording with this audio quality exists for the whole show.

Wilco has 2 albums in Rolling Stones 100 Greatest of the Decade

This. AGIB is WAY too hit or miss to be on this type of list. -
I don't know if this was mentioned yet but Nonesuch is having a sale where everything (including the three Wilco reissues) is 33 1/3% off. Summerteeth and Being There came to $33 with free shipping! http://www.nonesuch.com/store

As a hardcore fan that has seen them 18 times and over-analyzes everything they do, I have to say this is classic Pearl Jam. I've been listening non-stop since Friday and I have a hard time finding any weaknesses. Well, except maybe for "Johnny Guitar" and "The End", but we'll see. Just to give you an idea of what kind of fan I am, this is a quick rundown of how I would rank their previous efforts: No Code Yield Vs Vitalogy Ten S/T Binaural Riot Act It's too early to place it, but easily top five material for me. I think the length has a lot to with it. When I first heard it was onl

This is impossible, but I'll play by the rules... Misunderstood Candyfloss IATTBYH

I would just like to know whether or not I'm crazy here and I apologize if this has been answered and I missed it... Didn't they initially say that you would have a choice of any of the five shows to download? When did that turn to only DC?

I'm trying to fill out another league and thought I'd try to get some more Wilco fans involved. It's a Yahoo H2H league. http://baseball.fantasysports.yahoo.com/b1 League name: The High Heat (271349) Password: yankeessuck The draft is Sunday at 6:45 EST because I want to start with week one and the deadline is Sunday.

I cannot believe that these guys are coming to Charlottesville... I may finally actually see them and can cross them off my list of "bands I have somehow managed to never see in concert".

I can't believe that nobody has gotten it right yet... Pearl Jam And yes, I'm serious. With the impressive re-issue project getting underway next month and the self-release of their new album later this year, they are as vital as ever. There are too many great bands that have come out during the last decade or so to say that one stands above the rest. But everyone's definition of "important" will and should be different, so I'm only kidding about being right.

I've always maintained that In My Tree -> Smile -> Off He Goes is the greatest three-track run in their catalog. The sounds and styles that those songs encompass is unparalleled. Come to think of it, the entire first side is also as great of a "Side A" that has even been released. The ONLY weak link on No Code IMO is I'm Open. I still dig it and can appreciate what Eddie was going for, but it just doesn't stand up to the rest of the album. I was also at this show and remember the crowd's reaction to the Sonic Youth announcement. However I never knew that Kim Gordon's mother di

I'm a huge fan as well and have seen them 18 times over the years. I try to post the occasional Wilco thread in the "Other Music" section of the PJ board, but I don't like the new layout at all. My username there is "aspoonfulweighsaton" and since others have done it, I'll give you a quick ranking of albums for me: No Code VS Yield Ten Vitalogy S/T Binaural Riot Act

Now that's what I'm talking about! I can't wait!

Blu-Ray! Blu-Ray! Blu-Ray! Please?

Jeff is by far the most approachable musician I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. The rest of the guys are super nice as well, but Jeff seems to take more time and realizes that he's going to be more "in demand" if you will. I've seen them once each of the last four years and with the exception of the infamous Charlottesville debacle (not the show - by far the best I've witnessed), I've been able to meet all the guys and get pictures/autographs EVERY time.

They HAVE to record the Winter Residency
chriscolbert replied to Relatively Clean Rivers's topic in Just A Fan
I personally could see this being an "all or nothing" type of release simply because they've already gone the KT route where they played a lot of songs multiple nights so that they would have their pick of the best versions. They've put out only one album since then and if they're not repeating any songs, then it would seem silly of them to put together a mix of what would ultimately be viewed as their favorite songs if they do in fact end up doing them all. To sum up, a multi-night mix was obviously planned from the start with KT but a project like this has to be released in it's entirety -
It's on there. Check page two.

You can get it on dime here or with 5.1 audio here

So I finally got around to downloading this and it is quite impressive. So impressive in fact that I want to be able to listen to it anytime, anywhere. So... has anyone ripped the audio yet? I'm no good at that crap and have become dependant on others for some of the little things in life I now take for granted. Any info would be much appreciated!

cbd's is definitely the best as I have downloaded them all and can say that with the utmost confidence. It's funny, I was in the upper right-hand side of the stage area and told my buddy "Whoever has that rig back there knows what they're doing and I can't wait to hear it!". The next day I was re-living it with much pleasure. Thanks cbd!!!

I was at the Williamsburg show and remember that clearly since it was pretty funny that they came out almost right after they said that. It was different this time though. I have met all the guys after every show but was completely shut out due to the "post-show" party as we were told. Now I didn't stay until the bus pulled out or anything, but can ANYONE confirm that they came out at some point? We waited around an hour and a half.

I was just asking if anyone was aware of these recordings and if they had been in circulation before. I had forgotten that I could download individual files so I checked out the shortest song from each show and it does seem legit. So there goes the ratio

This may seem kind of random, but I was looking through all the available R.E.M. stuff on Oink and saw that someone claims to have soundboard copies of the next-to-last and last shows of the Monster tour from Atlanta. Can anyone validate that these are legit? I don't know how I would've missed them all these years but given the rigid ratio requirements I wanted to get an opinion before I downloaded them. Thanks!

IMO, this is by far the most disappointing album of the year. So sad
