I was at that Cleveland show. it was good, but it was the only show of that tour, where Jim didn't play with Wilco.

Chicago's Thrill Jockey 15th Anniversary Party
aricandover replied to Wendy's topic in Someone Else's Song
21+ is one of the greatest things ever. sometimes, I wouldn't mind if they upped it to 25+ -
they consistently knock it out of the park (no pun intended)

it was one of the best shows I've ever seen. It's also what got me into M. Ward. I had never heard of him before that show, and at the end of the night, I bought all of his CDs the the merch table had.

it's about time.

I agree that it's a silly topic, but if you listen to John's podcast, he did sing vocals on an unreleased UT song.

I'm hoping in one of these upcoming movies, we get the return of: the greatest folk duo of all time, Cylon & Garfunkel

Death Proof would've been great if it was just the final 15 minutes of the film. The begining was painful to sit through. The fact that the DVD is even longer, filled with even more jibber jabber from those vapid women, pretty much guarantees that I'll never be picking it up. On the other hand, I thought Planet Terror was excellent. i've said this before, but I think the casting of, Jeff Fahey and Michael Beihn as brothers, was pure genius.

just saying, death in comics never sticks. from the most important characters, to the very minor ones. they all get brought back from the dead at some point.

I take it you've never read comic books.
