  1. Ate this last night...very good...Cinnamon Buns sounds amazing though
  2. Only band in that entire list I'd want to see.
  3. good call we've been listening to this all week in my apartment, its incredible
  4. That was sick - I liked the barber shop style "Henry Rollins Show" interludes
  5. Crying of Lot 49 - Thomas Pynchon
  6. I found over 100, so I'm not going to do that one.
  7. Last year there was no problem getting tickets at the show. If not from the venue then from people who had extras etc. Also if you get to the show just a little bit early you will have no problem getting up close. We got there about an hour before and ended up 2nd row.
  8. Oh wow that is going to be incredible.

    a hunch...

    haha what a let down
  11. Interesting article. Cool info about LNGCA and other bonus songs. But the "Tweedy Beats Addiction, Releases Mellow, Intimate Album" headlines are getting out of control, can they stop talking about rehab, it was like 3 years ago at this point. And I would definitely love to hear the O'Rourke mix, and Jeff Tweedys iPod. Good to know the album will be available at Starbucks too
  12. This is going to be off the chain...most likely the best $60 I have or ever will spend.
  13. What a talented bastard. That was awesome. I need to figure out how to catch him on this tour.
  14. Judy is a Dick Slap - Belle and Sebastian
  15. Hmm...I saw that too. I do already have a username and password from previous pre-sales. This is confusing...i'll just go with iheartfricke.
  16. Any word on presale passwords, or if we'll even need one?
  17. I'm thinking of doing the same thing. Pines last summer was a fantastic show kind of just a big lawn surrounded by trees and this sort of castle-like structure. Don't know exactly where to stay but from what I could tell its kind of in the middle of nowhere.
  18. If you've seen the Wilco movie or any number of music docs featuring interviews with Fricke, you know that he loves himself 100 times more than any of the music he reviews. Honestly, if I had just read his stuff and not seen footage of him talking I would probably just take him for another boring rock journalist. For the majority of his bits in IATTBYH I can't help but notice that he has this dirty smirk because he is so impressed with himself.
  19. I saw that on their website on April 1st, i thought it was a joke...is that for sure?
  20. Pretty boring article. P.S. David Fricke is a disgrace to music journalim...and to anyone who has ever had an opinion on something.
  21. Its been DD for a while now, before that Ben and Jerry's. I went to this two years ago it was alright. A lot of its greatness lies in the town of Newport and the general vibe of the event. I'm kind of bummed that Morello is playing this because it means Rage won't be at Lollapalooza. Oh well.
  22. Bank of America Pavilion - Ew
  23. save 2 or 3 songs, this album is painfully boring...imho of course
