It might be awhile (kind of dense reading), but I'll try to remember.

Murakami (as usual) - Kafka on the Shore Roland Barthes - The Pleasure of the Text And a book compiled of Jean Baudrillard quotes.

Yes, because we love hearing the same set three years in a row.

I didn't buy any tickets. Oops. I didn't even think about it this morning. Or whenever they went on sale?
-
I would go to this if I got in free.

Nice to see him liking A Hawk & a Hacksaw. Well, all of that stuff is really good, actually. Eeeeek.

That is what I've heard also. It is back on TV if you have cable and get Ion Television, which I believe is the station formerly known as PAX? 9-10 CST every week night.

Aricandover masturbates to four times a week.

Not too sure about that one...

I am really wishing I would have been able to snag tickets for the Chicago show.

I tried to watch that show, but it was pretty terrible. I think I made it through about twenty minutes of the first episode.

White Noise is my favorite book. That gets my vote. -
I have Madame Truffle by Major Organ and the Adding Machine. Good shit.

The Quad Cities are boring, though. I don't think there is really any need to deny that. Of course, it probably didn't help that it was a Wednesday night or that the Adler is downtown when everything happens (sadly) in other parts of town where there can be big box stores and fast food and stuff like that. The "there would have been less than 100 people" comment is kind of ridiculous, though. I knew 627 people at the show.

It works fine for me?

Exotic Thai is awesome, but not very close to the venue (not at all close, actually, but Davenport isn't that big). Front Street Brewery is close to the venue, but I only know them for their beer (which is pretty good) and have never tried their food. Avoid a place called the Starting Line if it is still down there. Food is awful. Or at least it was the last time I went there, which was probably seven years ago at this point. Davenport is also home to any chain restaurant in the universe. I try to avoid them, but they are there for people that want them. I'll come back if I think of anything e

Hit me up if you need any tips. I have most of the Quad Cities disc golf stuff down.

Damn you. I will have to read it. Large parts of me wonder if I would have enjoyed Kite Runner more if I hadn't had to read it for a class. That is usually the case with me.
