  1. http://delamitri.com/2013/11/del-amitri-announces-uk-tour/ previously known as You Lucky British Bastards Part 2* I saw Del Amitri's last USA show in 1996. Great band. Would love to see them live again. I hope they come back to NYC.
  2. If not then who is? R.E.M. is still my number 1 even though they broke up 2 for me is a Wilco and Radiohead tie depends on the day.
  3. Don't Forget (The Chickens) Outta Mind (Out of Chickens)
  4. Awesome. I acutally saw Guster for the first time back in 1995. it was like being back in 1995 so I enjoyed it alot. I miss the days when they were a three piece.
  5. Got to rename! Live this afternoon! 2pm show Guster performing parachute! They don't play most of these songs live anymore so I am looking forward to it!
  6. I hate holiday music. Our office pipes in 106.7 fm which is the lite fm station and they play non stop christmas music from Now until new years eve!!!!
  7. cool..coldasgasoline and I were having a Mark Olson discussion in the live tonight thread. I saw the concerts in the Studio show in NJ I got to spend about 15 minutes talking with Mark in someones living room. The show takes place at a house with a potluck dinner. He is an odd but passionate guy. He was talking in depth about his trip to Armenia, spending time on an oil rig in Norway...(His significant others father works for Conoco Phillips), His suburu, and Health Care...the show was interesting too. Glad you had fun!
  8. Thanks for the recap. I agree it was an interesting experience!
  9. How was it?! Yeah an extra nice treat!
  10. Went to the show last night at the Beacon based on this post so thanks A Heart I Know By Heart. Since I am a fair weathered CCR fan I figured the show was out of my price range but I was tempted with that setlist. Low and behold 6pm night of show a ticket for $39 total popped up on stub hub and I pulled the trigger. Great, long show and he sounded awesome! Hard to believe he is 68 years old and still has that voice!
  11. So saw MBV last night..good show but bad vocal mix. On a related note got to meet Patti Smith who was watching the show 5 ft away from me.
  12. Nice... Reason I say louris wasn't as sentimental is he kept talking about starting over and not being Americana music when I last saw him. I hear last night louris played two hours and most of sound of lies! Nice! Must have been great with Karen.
  13. Good show...pretty good setlist. He played People on This Place On Everyside and King of Kings which I love. Also played Clouds, Sister Cry, Two Angels, Blue and Over My Shoulder. On this tour he is playing with his Significant other. So it is just him on guitar and her on Bongos and other various instruments. Some of his solo songs were pretty odd but it was a good evening of entertainment. Olson is a real nature sentimental type who reminised about old times def a different show then Louris. I got to talk with him for a few minutes about health care, oil rigs, Norway and cars (all of which
  14. Ha ha we should bring our two shows together!
