I was way off..should have paid better attention on my tour or the Inca Trail! 3800 Varieties! The page below has some other useful Peruvian facts that may also help you! http://www.limaeasy.com/peruvian-food-guide/typical-potatoes -
I remember the mother hips from the Aware compilation I bought on the Horde Fest. I saw Horde from 95-99...Loved that fest! Saw so many great bands and descovered many more!

I went to Peru specifically to visit Machu Picchu. It was amazing! The food and archetecture in Cusco is amazing. In terms of food. Since to me food relates to culture here is what I noticed. I believe they said Peru has over 500 varieties of potatoes. They also love their corn and coffee. Pisco sours are the drink of choice. Not sure if this is what you are looking for but if you have any questions I'll be happy to answer -
Those took a hit when they were re released..the money is at No Code, Yield, Binaural, Riot Act.

Lawn Boy was long over due. There was only 1000 copies originally pressed. Those original 1000 were going for $700 a piece on ebay. I also have Junta on vinyl sealed and can't bring myself to open it yet... I would say after Pearl Jam original pressings Phish are the most expensive. Ghost and Farmhouse continuously go for over $150...crazy stuff.

This show will be 30 minutes from my house and I prob won't go. I can't justify that price for 60 min of Wilco. I have seen Bob a few times before and am good for now.

Heard jfk library had an explosion too! My cousin ran the marathon today and he finished well before the explosion. I am thankful he is safe! My thoughts go out to all the victims who were not as lucky.

How big were the Japan venues...I would also like to hear details on merch and food? Were people eating octopus during Monday while drinkning a Kirin Lager? While I went to Japan I was amazed at what food constituted snacks out there. Sounds like a fun trip! -

Awesome! Enjoy the rest of the shows! -
The service charge thing is what floors me the most. If he can negotiate a smaller service charge then lets move on that!

Sigur Ros Ageatis on my dads expensive stereo. Turned it up loud and felt like I was standing in front of a 747 on a runway!
