I don't know if I take much stock in this. I did see him once solo and once with Genesis. Both were entertaining. He has written so many hits it is mindboggoling! http://www.nme.com/news/genesis/36215

They should add 4 more shows in Brooklyn and make maybe a residency where they can play all the songs in the recorded catelog! Hint Hint!

What's the price of gas where you are?

Every single episode of Seinfeld has a classic moment. It is the most popular syndicated show of all time and set the price record. http://money.cnn.com/1998/09/14/bizbuzz/seinfeld/ They don't pay $1,600,000 an episode for a show if it didn't have merrits. I agree in the fact that it is taylored more so to NY humor so maybe some people out of the area don't get some of the refrences!

The Critic could have been better than the Simpsons if it was a couple of seasons longer!

50.5 cents a mile. That is the going rate which covers tolls and maintenence you would have to do on your car.

You folks obviously never listened to Greetings From Asbury Park, Born To Run or Darkness on The Edge of Town..Though I would rank Wild his second best! -
I drive 300 miles a week just for commuting. I also work in a company that has a 160 mile stretch of territory that I must cover. I do get paid for mileage though when I drive during the day but the price of gas is really chipping away at the gas money! I average 22-25,000 Miles a year.

I got sentimental over this pic... http://www.flickr.com/photos/rowdyreptile/554273896/ Jersey is still cheap in comparison I guess...$3.25 regular! -
I may be in the minority in terms of thought but I believe it will take a few days to sell out! The place is massive and the $39.50 price tag may scare off some fair weathered fans...If for some reason you don't get a ticket you can clearly hear the music right outside the door.

Are there any bands you hope will reunite?
remphish1 replied to remphish1's topic in Someone Else's Song
Ah..gotcha. I am unfamiliar with the English Beat and just saw it listed on the concert pages and figured I would share in case anyone is interested! The Smiths would be an awesome reunion but thats almost as likely as an Uncle Tupelo reunion I guess? -

Didn't see it burried in the other thread...sorry!

With the flood of bands that have reunited recently are there any you hope that still will? What would it be like? I would like Soundgarden to reunite. I think Chris Cornell has quite the voice. I like Kim Thayls (Spelling?) Guitar playing. Badmotorfinger was a great record. I think the band would do well and sound awesome! I also would like the Jayhawks to reunite..though maybe they are more on a temporary hiatus? I am also hoping for Uncle Tupelo but am not holding my breath!
