Great...the $800 will barley cover the money I lost leaving my stock in the stock market thanks to the rotting economy!

Just an observation. Most peoples ideal setlist are close to the current setlist or feature mostly songs that have been played in the last year or so....

Back when I was a ute I used to like 1. Phish 2. Barenaked Ladies 3. Aerosmith 4. Weezer 5. Dave Matthews Band (didn't almost every teenager in 1995/6?) I really don't like any of them anymore. I would used to rush to buy albums by these artist not anymore. I still have my remphish1 user name which I am emotionally attached to though

I was fortunate enough to see the Eels show at Town Hall that was recorded for the DVD. Me and my friend are visible through most of the encore (especially during where they are playing the Prince Cover and Mr. E's BEautiful Blues. Great live show but songs are very depressing!

Jonas Brothers $120 Million Dollar Deal!
remphish1 replied to remphish1's topic in Someone Else's Song
I would venture to say that it was Hannah Montana that was the selling point for the majority of the tickets. I doubt so many were there just to see them??? I could be wrong.... -
I used to be in the concert business and I knew back in 1998 Billy Joel was $500,000 a show and Chili Peppers were $150,000 a show! This deal nets them almost 1 million a show! Are they going be able to sell out 140 shows? How expensive will tickets have to be for this tour! When will it stop???? From MSNBC.COM Jonas Bros. sign $120 million-touring deal Tween rockers will play more than 140 arena dates for Live Nation Reuters updated 9:16 p.m. ET, Thurs., Jan. 3, 2008 LOS ANGELES - Concert touring company Live Nation on Thursday said it reached a two-year, multimillion dollar, world

Hmm not sure if it was onsale? The one they were displaying was $350 or so which was out of my price range so I didn't pay much attention to it beyond that.

I just used the 12% off and bought a magellian today. Came out to $220 in the store I think. Garmins are slightly more money but the magellian after one use seems nice. For the 12% off coupon to work the item must not be onsale!

Radiohead (sort of) Announce American Tour
remphish1 replied to stickman's topic in Someone Else's Song
Radiohead tickets in the NYC area are never easy to get. I saw them in Camden on that tour and got on first second onsale and was 30 rows back. Sold out minutes later! -
Glen Phillips is one of the monst underated songwritters of our time! Seen him Solo and with Toad many times. Besides being a great musican/songwritter I think he is one of the nicest people I met in showbusiness. Hammel on Trial is one crazy musician too. He does alot for just a bald guy and a guitar His quotes are histerical too. I saw hime once and I kid you not he said... " I have a mailing list you can sign up for over there...you are probably saying to yourself why would I let a sweaty bald motherf*cker have my email address?" Anyhoo

Cool...welcome! I was just in Omaha for the first time back in July. Went to dinner at the Brother Sebastians Steakhouse....yummy! Zoo was nice too!

I saw them at Fletchers (which maybe holds 200 people???) in Baltimore back in 1999. Got my face blasted off by the sound and Wayne squirted fake blood on people in the first row (Which I was in) he also gave me a high five. Show was loud, intense, bright, crazy and memorable. I have seen them a few times after but in larger venues much further back. Still a great time. I just wish they would mix up their setlist a bit!

I bought these two albums and don't like them at all. Suggest a trade for one of the albums and we will make it happen. I am pretty open to trying new bands so if there is something you are getting tired of and want to trade let me know. Post below which you want to trade for and what you got and I will pick one!
