I love continentals last minute deals....for $150 rt I am going to Halifax, NS this weekend from NJ. I couldn't pass it up in addition to the fact I don't have to take off of work for this one thanks to memorial day! Yay! Anyways I know little about Halifax and surround areas. I understand visiting the Maritime Museaum is a must, I want to visit Alexander Keiths Brewery too...was thinking in addition a visit to Peggy's Cove and Lunenburg...anyone have any other recommendations or must sees? I will accept any restuaraunt recommendations too!

I saw Wilco on Letterman back in 97 when they did Outtasite....it was awesome. We stood in line and heard them soundcheck it about 10 times...after the show I also got to meet Wilco outside the side stage door. I was one of three people there to meet them and Jeff was more than willing to talk, sign etc..... HAVE FUN!

That will be an awesome expierence for you. How many shows do you plan on going to...I was just thinking if Wilco did this in NYC...I would probably go to 5 or so!

Nope...just mainly people from this season. I understand there was a party after this where many more racers attended but I did not go to that one.

It still is sinking in that I was able to watch the finale of one of my favorite tv shows with the cast! How it came together and how I ended up there made it that much more random and exciting!

By some weird twist of fate I ended up at the finale of the Amazing Race cast party! My friend and his mom were at the play Curtains on friday night and they ran into Dave and Mary. After talking to them they were kind enought to invite them and friends to the party. Little did they know and I know it was a private party. We get to the bar and the bouncer was pretty tame looking and he kept leaving to go to the bathroom. So after he left I went up there with my friends and just hung out. The Iqualuit show capacity is 500 I think! Too bad airfare form Mainland USA is roughly $1500! It would be an expierence though! How can they make money on a show like that with equipment transportation etc?!

ikol...it is alright to disagree on the future climate but I put this thought on the line. How about having better air to breath for our current generation. The number of people with lung cancer from poisionus sut is rising at a fast pace (Due mostly to coal fired plants and gasoline emissions). The air is so much cleaner in other parts of the world that it is crazy we can't do somethig to fix this. I have been to places where I felt like I was choking from the air quality (Chile, Argentina) to places that it was so refreshing just to breathe (Finland Sweeden etc) On another note I don't know
