I know you're being silly, but really I think there are a lot of people here, most maybe, who root for Jay, but find a lot of his solo stuff to be kind of disappointing.

I won't take that challenge, as I won't see it. I figure it probably has some funny parts, but eh. He's in a lot of those eh sort of movies. Shanghai Noon comes to mind--lots of critics praised his comedic chemistry with Jackie Chan--I thought he was sort of painful.

I thought there was a certain haha-aren't-we-clever-please-don't-forget-that-we-created-the-character-please-pay-attention vibe to the whole thing. Tried to come off as tee-hee, but there was sort of an underlying credit-claiming going on. I may be reading too much into it. I don't begrudge Owen Wilson being in shitty movies. I imagine he's just getting paid and I know I won't watch them. There are two other actors whom I think are talented, but are often in bad movies: Eugene Levy and Morgan Freeman. These are the first that come to mind, at least.
