  2. I think that once Trace had been released, Tweedy had no choice but go in a different direction.
  3. Well said Jimmy. I listened to the podcast and was envious of all of you. No one can touch Tweedy as a solo performer right now. He's at the top of his game.
  4. 3Legged Animals is my favorite tune on Roots and Crowns. Since the voice/lyrics are sort of stream of consciousness rather than narrative, I think the video suits perfectly. Thanks for keeping us updated owl. This is my most listened to band right now, tied with Sin Ropas, another Red Red Meat progeny.
  5. It's my favorite time of year to have a birthday! Happy birthday!
  6. So Green Onions by Booker T. and the MGs wouldn't count, eh?
  7. I have lived this poem too. Thank you Sarah.
  8. Somehow this doesn't surprise me a bit! My favorite is to have my lover's leg crossed over my bottom leg matching the position of my angled leg. WTMI!

  11. Dan, I could use a bit of both on this chilly mid winter morning. That night seems so warm in my memory. Awww. You guys are the best virtual and fleshy pals a girl could ask for! Thank you, thank you, a million times thank you.
  12. Happy day to you my sweet birthday sister! Looking forward to more of this...
  13. "In the past years, we have started to see, for the first time, the beginnings of public resistance to rapacious pricing and other dubious practices of the pharmaceutical industry. It is mainly because of this resistance that drug companies are now blanketing us with public relations messages. And the magic words, repeated over and over like an incantation, are research, innovation, and American. Research. Innovation. American. It makes a great story. But while the rhetoric is stirring, it has very little to do with reality. First, research and development (R&D) is a relatively small par
  14. 'Twas the health insurance companies that told Hillary how to shove it up her ass with her big idea for a modicum of universal health care. "The health care system of the United States is hostage to the enormous profits distributed to insurance companies, hospital corporations, and drug purveyors. They swarm over the Congress, plying the legislative system with money, "expertise", and favors. Congressmen leave their seats to take jobs with pharmaceutical companies, as did Jim Greenwood of Bucks County, Pennsylvania, and Billy Tauzin of the 3rd District of Louisiana. The healthcare corpor
