I snagged a copy of the Old 97's/Waylon Jennings double 7" and it is pretty great. The local store only got 2 in so, I hope the other went to a good home and not ebay. Also got the Pornography 7" (that Ryan Adams side project) pretty fun punk stuff. Hoping the local store can snag one of those Elliott Smith 7" from their distributor for me. you're right! i was thinking of Chastain Park (though, I must say it is well named Chastain is my Maiden name). Gah, that show, while awesome, left a lot to be desired of the crowd. Saw an interview recently where John said it was the wettest show Wilco's ever played. I'd have to agree.

The amphitheater in ATL is crummy. The sound is terrible. The set up is terrible. Unequivocally the worst place to see a show in that town. I have a friend who is a professional photographer and he refuses to shoot there it's so bad.
