just finished listening to the whole thing. 1st impressions- the drumming on Everlasting might be my favorite drum track on any wilco song ever. and the ending def should have been at least a minute longer. it reminds me of the noise at the end of reservations. bull black nova reminds me of waking up from a horrible dream, in the best way possible it's gonna take about 50 listens to really get a good grasp of this sucker. i'm gonna take the long way home from work tonight to listen to it in the car. thanks ya'll!!! it was a great day. i got to hang out with some of my very favorite people and got treated to a couple really nice meals over the weekend and today. went out with my birthday money today and bought some chaco sandals.

Man that sucks. A good friend of mine from church just had a hip replacement surgery a couple months ago. He did recover quickly... I will def. contribute some money if a charity gets set up for Jay. I met him once about 5 years ago when he came through Chatt on tour for "Palace" and he was so nice to me and my dad. He actually sat down and talked with us for the better part of an hour, and even offered to help me with my algebra homework! (I was 16 at the time and having the toughest time with Algebra 2). He really was the nicest guy.

i kid you not, on the way into work this moring i thought "i wonder if the new wilco record is going to be slef-titled" and then i read in the after the show thread from jazz fest it is indeed going to be self-titled! whoa!

all the shows i have been to in the south were great. not all crowds are horrible.
