I know. Yeah, I thought they were really good. The mix was pretty horrible though. Treble was waaaaaaay too high.

Bel Air is an okay song to play...dunno why I didn't think of it. I will keep it in my head in case I run through all those and need more to play. I saw the Black Crowes last night A-Man and I thought of you

Tonight I am playing a show at a pizza place my friend works at. I have never played a serious gig in my life, only one or 2 songs at open mics and talent contests, so, anybody have any advice? My set list is below. Songs with astericks are originals. Thanks so much... I am very excited! Pieholden Suite Terrible Vision Clouds Jesus Etc. I saw the movie yesterday, and I am easily creeped out by scary movies, so i jumped a lot! i thought the part where they used the Wilco song was good, like it fit, until the scary stuff started happening... then when the Haggard song played...yikes! I don't think I will ever listen to that song in the same way again. It was an okay movie. The Wilco song was the best not-scary part.

when you have a piece of wilco clothing on almost every day when you travel across the country to see them when your friends know who jeff tweedy is simply because you talk about how cool he is all the time. -
My sister was in the car with my Grandma (affectionately refered to as G-dawg-ma in our house now) and she said that "Hate It Here" played on the radio and Becca mentioned that it was Wilco and my grandma cracked the radio up and at the end of the song said "That singer's voice is so clean, very pure!" I nearly fell over when Becca told me.

wow. that story reminds me of my grandma.

Ha! I totally saw him open for Ben Folds 2 weeks ago! He was fantastic! My sister and I are both fans now. We actually heard one of his tunes on a movie called "Rocket Sience"...he put on a great show. He reminds me of Ryan Adams-style humor mixed with Andrew Bird's melodies.

yeah, in nashville there was a group of guys basically sitting at the stage door waiting to pounce on the unsuspecting Wilcos as they came out the door. they were having them sign stuff and taking pictures while they were signing, jeff asked if they were gonna put it on ebay or if they worked for a dealer and the guys were like "no.." i was gonna say something about it when they were doing it, but i didn't think it was my palce. it made me so mad though... i have a ton of signed stuff from wilco and a couple other bands, and all of it is so special. i think the coolest thing though is that s

I hated 85% of the arrangements of last night's songs. Who the hell thought it was a good idea to give that kid a squak "talk" box? At least Michael Jackson will get money to buy another rollercoaster or something...

well said. i really do believe Obama has the nation's best interest at heart, and that he can help fix a lot of what's wrong in our country right now.
