I disagree with this. Most days I read after-the-show and at the Berkeley show I was floored when they did "Too Far Apart" even though I knew they'd been playing it. When they busted out "In A Future Age" oh wow, I thought I was dreaming... It may effect some folks negitively by knowing what is being played, but if you go in not thinking about it I don't think it matters...

that is amazing!! "Casino Queen"...wow. Also, the Glenn standing thing... did anybody else thing that he did that at the beginning of ITMWLY because he was saying he's the man who loves Jeff? before we found out it a tribute, I thought that's why he did it...

I feel the same way about the Knoxville show I saw... prefect opener to my favorite solo show of anybody ever.

i just got one of their records today off emusic free trial thing... really digging it so far. i love all the sonic layers on some tracks. i've known about them because they were sort of elliott smith's backing band in '99-'00

I will be 21 in May. Right now there's a city wide rule that persons under 21 are not allowed in establishments that sell beer and all that... but, rules are made to be broken... So yeah, I can get into some places to do open mics...

So, I am tried of playing folk-esque music by myself. Answered a flyer looking for a rhythm guitarist and the guy called me last night. He was mostly interested because I am a girl and apparently girls don't call about being in rock bands very much... doubt anything will come of it now though, because I know they are going to say I can't play worth a shit. So, my question for you guys is: how did you get your bands started? Is there any good way to try to get one going? Thanks!

I loved the "rush to the stage thing" and I was sooooooo happy you popped up right beside me! The photos are lovely!!!!!! Do you mind if I make copies of them?? I think we should start a "dear wilco, please play these songs!!" thing... or maybe they will carry over the set list request thing to other shows... On topic-- i actually think this tab sounds better open then capo 5, or maybe it's just my range...

i had one last night. it was at the santa barbara show, and they went off stage for their encore, and came back and jon brion was there. he came out on stage and wilco backed him up and he sang "walking through walls". then jason came out and had those of us in the front row form a circle and jeff jumped down in the middle of it, and they were doing this play type thing about a guy trying to buy some milk. jeff had a snake and he turned around and gave it to me. so there i am standing in this circle holding this snake watching jeff and nels and pat doing a play (nels was in a dress, btw) an

Just got an email from Emily who works with wilco... I got a signed poster and my picture will be on the website!!

i would love to get a signed poster...really i am after those shoes though, they look really comfy... doubt anything will come of the pictures i sent in, though it would tickle me to see one of them on the site. all the ones in the thread are winners methinks!
