Pot Kettle Black was full band. The Lonely 1 threw me for a loop. I had a bit of a beatlemania moment there for a sec right at the beginning. What a show. We managed to bum rush the stage and ended up front row right in front of Pat. The comment about his amp being burried, it wasn't from where we were, my ears are still ringing. Ouch. i like the album ok. "Breakin' Up" is an incredibly fun song to drive around and sing. I thought Dreamworld sounds like fleetwood mac too...

These set lists are making me really excited for this weekend. Awesome stuff! Glad everybody had a good time!!

I am happy to be where I am, that my mom is doing somewhat better, that my dog love me unconditionally, that Wilco has brought my sister and i closer together, that i am going to CA day after tomorrow, that things are coming up rosey with a relationship i thought was doomed. I am (hopefully) going to be there. Still don't have a ticket, but think one will probably come through next week... Really there are only a couple of songs that I really hope to hear at the show: On and On and On Pieholden Suite Poor Places Theologians Thanks I Get Who else is going, and what do you want to hear???

I was working that the aquarium one Sunday and Bobby Bare Jr. had played a show here that friday and he and his family came thru. I made them all laugh with the pooping parrot fish prop. talked to Tori Amos on the phone once because she was talking to Rhett when he called me. Passed Nels Cline on the street in Asheville and I didn't know it was him til after the show that night. Apparently George Clooney and Rene Zellwigger came thru the aquarium back in the spring...
