My point is, Doug Mirabelli was awful at catching Wakefield as well. Looks like he had 11 passed balls in ~25 games catching Wakefield, and Bard had 10 in 6 games, which is a pretty small sample size.

Honestly, Bard wasn't any worse catching Wakefield than Beerabelly was.

I had considered that possibility. Tough season, Lion(')s' fans. Also, what a disappointing second half for the Redskins. It's no 0-16, but ending 8-8 after starting 6-2, and ending the season with a stupid loss to the stupid 49ers, was pretty brutal. I cannot understand why the Redskins called a timeout at fourth and goal with 1:15 remaining, basically giving the Niners the time to go down the field and set up for the winning field goal. Losses to St. Louis, Cincinnati and San Fran. And they failed to remain the only team in the league not to give up 25 points in a game. Ugh.

I don't think anyone denies that he wrote the majority of the songs. That they were collaboratively developed doesn't mean that he didn't come up with the ideas. It just means he's a dick (as has been established) for taking all the credit for himself. Yes, I've read the Levon Helm book.

That's not the same as saying he's the "true talent" in the band. He wrote pretty much all of the songs. That much is true.
