truetolife
The AT&T Blueroom will be hosting the webcasts for this years Lollapaloza festival beginning Friday. I watched most of the webcasts they did for Bonnaroo this year and was quite impressed with the video and audio quality. In an email I received the line-up for the webcast is.... Wilco, Wolfmother, the Secret Machines, Umphrey's McGee, Ryan Adams, Panic at the Disco, She Wants Revenge, The Editors plus many more! Someone here needs to go ahead and get their webcapture software ready to record this, I'm excited I'll be able to sit back in the comfort of my air-conditioned home, have a few beers and some smoke, all while enjoying the satisfying sounds of Wilco and Ryan Adams. I'm curious as to whoelse will be on the webcast. I'll update you if I get any more info. JHamm
WM Recorder normally works with this kind of thing, but it didn't work with the Bonnaroo sets that the Blueroom broadcasted a few weeks ago. I'll try to record this on sunday, but it may not work. Don't know. I hope someone else out there gives it a shot, too.
truetolife
JHamm, thanks for all the archiving you've done for UT, SV, and Wilco. From the advice of someone else, I downloaded the WMRecorder, I'm going to try it out to, hopefully it will work. I'm going to try to get ahold of some of the people that did successfully record all the B-Roo shows and see what they used.

TheMaker
Much props to these Blueroom guys. This is literally the first video webcast I've ever been able to play without either a billion interruptions or a complete inability to stream video. Good audio, good video. Thumbs up and looking forward to Wilco on the weekend.

truetolife
Agreed, the quality of these broadcasts are superb, many folks (including me) had a hard time getting it to work from the Blueroom site from time to time, but somehow a guy had a stream going through another site, and his link seemed to work for those that couldn't get the Blueroom to work, I will post it if I can find it. truetolife
Alright I found the alternate link from last time, I'm not at my home PC yet so I can't tell if it will work for this one. Someone please try this and let the others know if its working. http://mfile.akamai.com/25704/live/reflector:59209.asx
a.miller
doesn't look like that one is working. At least not for me. edit: anyone else watching this and have the screen turn green and go upside down and backward?!? (from the at&t page that is...)
a.miller
A little piece of advice to make this better for everyone --> open windows media player and go to Tools, Options, Performance and then change your buffer from the default 5 to a number between 1 and 60. Then go back to your internet browser and hit the refresh button. Mine was on 5 and the video would pause and buffer every minuter or so, which really sucked. I upped mine to 25 and it has been smooth as butter so far. (*fingers crossed)
bobbob1313
It's playing really clear and with no buffering on my sister's computer. The Raconteurs are awesome. I definetly need to go pick up that cd, and may do so tonight.
a.miller
The Raconteurs are awesomeI second this motion. Never heard them before. Less than one hour to Ryan Adams.
bobbob1313
I second this motion. Never heard them before. Less than one hour to Ryan Adams. Yes, I am looking forward to RA. I'm considering running out to B&N between the Raconteurs and RA, but I'm not sure if I've got enough time. This song "Yellow Sun" (I think) is great.
