Anybody else having trouble with gmail this week? I'm on Day 3 of problems.

Aside from being slow, it's OK for me right now.

I rarely use my gmail (Yahoo improved their mail a bit so I never fully switched), so maybe I'm not seeing issues that more frequent users might see.

What kind of problems? I've been wondering if I'm getting responses slowly.

Like Cryptique said, it's being really slow in loading. Plus, sometimes it takes hours or even an entire day in some cases to for an email to show up in my inbox.

Is that why you haven't responded to my "proposal"? :heehee

Oh "that"? No, "that" I just ignored. I think you're taking your Kinky obsession just a little too far, man.

Yeah, I've been hearing that a lot lately. Maybe it's time for a long hard look in the mirror.

Or maybe I should just ask Caliber?

I may go to Celtic fest this weekend with a woman I work with......I wonder if I can convince Jorge to enter the kilt contest. hmmmm......

My brother-in-law and his brother will be competing in the highland games at that thing. My two nephews are wearing the same kilts as their Dad! So, if you happen to see a Dan or Kevin Carpenter throwing a huge bail of hay over uprights w/ a pitchfork or trying to flip a giant telephone pole...cheer them on.

Under the circumstances, I think his arrest is well justified. I would imagine he'll have his day in court and get off with a fine and time served.

Think of all the people he could be helping/offering a smoke right now, brah.

I posted this on another board....

If you're a bounty hunter, you need to have respect for the rule of law.

There's an organization I'd like to work for that does a lot of work in countries where many officials are unwilling or unable to enforce important, morally imperative laws. Rather than administering some type of vigilante justice, the organization actively seeks non-crooked law enforcement officers and officials and works with them. Obviously a bounty hunter wouldn't be very interested in that, because they wouldn't end up with the bounty.

Like it or not, Mexico is a sovereign nation and has its own relevant laws and extradition agreements with the U.S.

Not surprisingly, a U.S. judge agrees with me.

The following month, Superior Court Judge Edward Brodie in Ventura County, California, ruled that Chapman was not entitled to any of the $1 million in bail money forfeited by Luster when he fled to Mexico. (Full story)

"I cannot do vigilante justice," Brodie said. "In my view, you violated state statutes and Mexican statutes. Therefore you are not entitled to any restitution."

Chapman later said he was proud that he had captured Luster, but regretted doing it "in the wrong way."

uH.... If you're a convicted serial rapist, f the laws. You deserve to be hunted and beat down.

It doesn't seem suspicious that this is happening 3 years later?... WTF?

Diplomatically working with officials versus recklessly kicking some ass? This organization obviously doesn't want a reality show based on it.
