Any idea who these retailers are? I'd hate to get it somewhere and then find out I could've gone somewhere else or ordered it online and gotten the bonus DVD.

parrish_10
also, the 4lp vinyl box set kicks all sorts of ass.
Welsh Rich
..is this good or bad? it's good! I had a look online for the DVD yesterday, but no mention of the acoustic dvd, so I might have to pop into town itself and see if any of the record stores have it... jimmyjimmy
I played Run Thru live on the air yesterday afternoon and got more inquiries/calls for that one track afterwards than any track I can recall in recent memory. People are really digging this record.

Here's some info from the MMJ site: You get the limited 'Acoustic Chorale' DVD EP when you buy the Okonokos DVD at selected indie stores. Check these links for all locations: http://www.cimsmusic.com/ http://www.musicmonitornetwork.com/directory.htm http://www.thealliancerocks.com/ The DVD is very limited so be there on street date. Tracklist:1. Bermuda Highway2. At Dawn3. Sooner4. Where to Begin5. I Think I'm Going to Hell6. Strangulation I've heard the audio to these songs and they are as good as the Okonokos cuts. They are taken from the same show. No stores carried this near me, so I ordered it online from a record store in CA.

One would think that Reckless would carry it, and I might just have to check up on that after work. If not, I guess its on-line for me too
ms. yvon
i also saw a screening of the film. SWEET JESUS!! AMAZING!! fantastic performances. jaw droppingly beautiful. gorgeous, well conceived and directed. the entire show i was like this: i bought the dvd afterward and have been playing it non-stop. did you notice that some of the songs on the DVD aren't in the film? am i high? i keep playing bits of it for my co-workers. everyone gets sucked in right away. also: have has "wordless chorus" in my head since monday. Beltmann
For those in the Milwaukee area: The Rosebud Cinema Drafthouse is going to screen the MMJ movie next week. It's a cool place to see a movie, what with the sofas and beer.
Wilco LP #7
just watched the DVD. It's really great, especially run thru and mahgeetah. the intro and ending are pretty stupid though, i think. i can't wait to see them and wilco on consecutive nights,
ms. yvon
the intro is very long, but it sets up A. Man and the alpaca quite nicely. "run thru" is blistering! "steam engine" takes my breath away. everytime.
ms. yvon
with the aid of my anonymous ticket-purchasing wing(wo)man--i got tickets for all three nights at the fillmore in december. two bonus rad things about this show: west coast!! no time zone crossing shenanigans! AND it's a holiday weekend at work. WOOOOO-HOOOOOOO!!! *now constructing foam novelty flying-v guitar to bring to show...*
Blue and Green
I'm looking forward to see them on the 25th of this month. It should be good times!

watchtower41
If anyone was looking to grab this dvd with the bonus acoustic "Chorale" dvd, I found a store in Louisville that has them....I did not find one record store in the Chicagoland area that had the bonus dvd packaged in 13.99 including shipping http://www.earx-tacy.com/
