Recommended Posts

There's been talk of this being Wilco's last album. Discuss.

my god, i go and try and escape all the negativism on the duke basketball boards and find someone talking wilco out their behind. (that's a joke if'n you've ever seen the espn commercial.)

it's their next to last album. YHF was their Sgt. Pepper, AGIB was their White Album, SBS is their Let it Be, and their next is their Abbey Road.

yeh but wasn't abbey road recorded before let it be? or am i imagining remembering that? that would mean there's an album in the can already. anyone got a boot?

I'm pretty sure English is not this poster's native language. I believe he meant to say that Sky Blue Sky is an album that will last. :worship

I agree. Probably beyond our lifetimes. Good call, joshsirjoshules! :thumbup

Yes, I've heard this too. From you. Just now. I love how blatantly unfounded this rumour seems to be. Dude, at least make up a source-! "A friend of a friend knows Chris Shaw, and he said he was talking to Tweedy two weeks ago &c."

You are correct, Sky Blue Sky is in fact the last Wilco album, chronologically.

For those of you playing along at home, it goes as such:

AM

BT

ST

YHF

AGIB

SBS

Your obstructionist tactics have been duly noted in the official record, sir.

Jeff called me last night and we talked for a few minutes and he told me that this is in fact Wilco's last record.

He also invited me to join the new band he's putting together, The Jeff Tweedy Experience. Look for that one to drop this fall, bitches.
