unposed_question
Interesting (to me at least) that Amazon has the SBS CD alone marked down to $13 from $19 but the CD/DVD is only marked down to $23 from $25!
welch79
i think a tote is a weird thing for a band to sell.i think, now don't throw stones at me, that the tote is more for the fans of the female persuasion... i am only saying this b/c i'm a dude and i have no interest in this, but my wife, who's a girl, seems to like the idea. Girl though I may be, my first thought that was the tote was the cheesiest thing on god's green earth. I really wanted the CD/LP/DVD/T-S, but I'd have saved money getting the tote, too. Of course, my male friend immediately pointed out that it would be a totally awesome way to get groceries next year. He's the one, though, who has Belle & Sebastian luggage tags, so you'll have to take that with a grain of salt.
konev1
that tote looks the perfect size for carrying around that SBS vinyl and possibly others...

djones
Hi, Does anyone know why "Is that the Thanks I get?" isn't on the album
cryptique
Hi, Does anyone know why "Is that the Thanks I get?" isn't on the albumMy guess is that it simply didn't make the cut, if it was even recorded during those sessions. Doesn't bother me too much ... I wasn't all that impressed with it, and I'm not sure how well it would have fit.
djones
agreed. Thanks

It's interesting that they would have left it off the record after having played it on TV (was that on Conan?), but maybe not all that surprising.
you ever seen a ghost?
>Does anyone know why "Is that the Thanks I get?" isn't on the album surprised nobody has mentioned this yet. it's even been officially stated (in an interview) that "Is This The Thanks I Get?" wouldn't be a b-side, but would definitely be on the next album. also, of course, they are trying to get that out within the 1-1 1/2 year(s) after SBS comes out. i think it's a great track and would have fit perfectly on SBS. -justin
cryptique
i think it's a great track and would have fit perfectly on SBS. Difference of opinion ... I was pretty pleased that it didn't turn up on SBS. That said, if it had, I probably never would have questioned its presence ... but because it didn't, I just don't see where it would have fit in. Funny how that works. yermom
All of these Wilco goodies are a great way to spend my student loans! What is "One True Vine," exactly?

misslaura
I definitely did not get such an email. I have emailed the store asking if they can combine shipping as I am being penalised for getting in early, but no response so far. Has anyone heard back from Musictoday about this? I have e-mailed them asking about upgrading my package and still not heard back. It's annoying though - why are some people getting punished for ordering early?
