radiokills
You're looking forward to/going to/that have good lineups Ive already got tickets for Pitchfork Music Festival, I cant wait for Daydream Nation. Im debating on going to Lolla, Lolla is just always so big and messy, I havent had the best experiences there, and Wilco isnt playing either festival.

PigSooie
Only band in that entire list I'd want to see. Me too, but I'm not going to this disaster just to see them. They are one of the few bands that come to Memphis on a regular basis.

quarter23cd
The Allman Brothers Band - hell yesIggy & The Stooges - might suck, but worth a listen if I'm at the festival anywayGov't Mule - I'd rather hear the Allmans, but the Mule is good live actSocial Distortion - hell yeahThe Derek Trucks Band - are the Allmans sponsoring this event? North Mississippi Allstars - never seen 'em, heard good thingsSteely Dan - yupThe Ohio Players - should be funTaj Mahal - sure, why not?Old Crow Medicine Show - dittoGuster - ditto, againI dunno, I found at least 10 bands here. bold992003
I've been to a ton of festivals over the years, bigger ones, smaller ones and i can tell you Memphis is one of the best. Its well run, and the local musicians there are as good as the bigger acts, plus you get to go to beale street when the main stages are over......and i actually think the lineup this year is great...for those going def don't go to Beale with out seeing Richard Johnston (his shows on beale are legendary)Corey osbornBilly Gibson BandJerry Lee Lewis (just because you have to, he still puts on a great show)and just about any band that play BB kings late night (last year Warren Haynes and Gov't Mule showed up when i was there)
deepseacatfish
I'm going to Pitchfork, thought it was really well run and a nice setup last year, and I'm definitely looking forward to the Youth, though Saturdays lineup is pretty subpar at the moment. Other than that, I was considering Bonnaroo, but it's just too much cash at this point. I'll probably hit up the Iowa City jazz festival, and then if anything cheap/free happens in Minneapolis I'll go to that. Right now I'm just stoked about my Davenport Wilco tickets and soon I think I'll pick up some tickets for the Minneapolis Tortoise show. Now I'm just hoping for a couple more good bands and I'll be very happy. (Come on Hold Steady/Sea and Cake/Califone/or Yo La Tengo...)
virtualreason
Summerfest, for it's 40th anniversary "party" is really getting some shitty acts at the Marcus, but that fest is all about the free side stages anyway. I don't think Wiclo's going to show up this year because they have to be in Norway (and not jet-lagged) by July 7th. Lolla is going to be amazing for me. I can't wait to see Muse at their first proper US festival. And, from my math, it's costing me a bizzare $16.25 per band that I want to see. Totally worth that cost. There seems to be one more slot open for a headliner with Pearl Jam and Daft Punk being the other two (I don't think Ben Harper is headline material for Lolla), so I'm hoping for a late White Stripes addition. Pitchfork is going to scratch my indie itch this summer. Seeing New Porn with Neko is going to be welcome. If she doesn't show, she has a lot of explaining to do, because she doesn't live too far from that park. All in all, looks like a good summer.
bobbob1313
I'll be at Bonnaroo.
Szabo
This is the weirdest lineup i've ever seen. I'd see these bands out of it: I'll tell you one that is going to suck. myboyblue
I'm considering this year's Ottawa Bluesfest. Dylan, The White Stripes, Metric, Cat Power, Bela Fleck, Fema Kuti, George Clinton and P-Funk, Los Lobos, Leo Kottke, Randy Newman, etc., etc. Wow, that does look good. Believe it or not, the Twangfest in St. Louis looks like a very good time.
street spirit
I'll be at Sasquatch again this year... the first day sort of kills the second day, but they're both worth attending, imo. http://www.sasquatchfestival.com/

Its a great little festival! The Queen Mary is haunted and has a very strange vibe though.

Degenerex
I'll be at Pitchfork and Lollapalooza this year for sure, and maybe Bonnaroo. NONE of my friends have even heard a Sonic Youth song so I'll be there alone on Friday night, so if anyone is in the same boat and wants to start a Teenage Riot with me, let me know.
