Wilco Worshipper
...what performance do you find running through your mind most often?!? I would definitely have to go with 'Spiders (Kidsmoke)'. I never got really, really into the song before, but NOW that I've seen it performed live twice and with a punch...MAN!!! That was some A-MA-ZING shit!!!
Scalzunfield
Spiders has evolved (or maybe devolved) for me into a song I'd really prefer not to hear live again. At first I enjoyed it (early on in the AGIB tour), but now I'm really quite tired of it and would much rather hear 2 or 3 shorter songs played (as many people stated on VC during the AGIB tour). For me it's "Side With The Seeds" hands down. Nels' performance leaves me just smiling and in shock at the same time. Brilliant.

Brilliant. agree with you on side with the seeds in terms of new material, also i dont think i would ever get sick of hearing handshake drugs live...probably my favorite live wilco song
Wilco Worshipper
Well, I was just picking the one that's stuck in my head. I think the one I enjoyed the most, is the one that moved me incredibly which was...'On and On and On'. I had heard pre-show(s) that it wasn't really being performed, so you could've knocked me over with a feather when it started. I was already emotional during my first show and this song just did me in. I was a mess... I held it together better the 2nd time, but it was still pretty intense... Kalle
Sunken Treasure and Via Chicago still stick out at this point but Spiders is a monster and Handshake Drugs just gets me once the drums kick in.
Hippycat
I'm going to want to hear 'Either Way' every time I ever see Wilco live. It's one of my faves from SBS, and it's just so beautiful live I honestly think a show without it would be missing part of it's soul. Maybe the sun will SHINE TODAY! theashtraysays
+1 for VC. Reservations led by Jeff's acoustic guitar has a permanent place in my brain as well.

oceanman
Sunken Treasure hands down. And I dig Spiders a whole lot now.
Bob Dylan's Beard
I've only seen the band twice, but when they played Via Chicago at the Chastain show in the rain I just lost it. I was so moved by every part of that song...I can't even describe it.
JMal
"ouutamind, Outtasite" was the most fun I had at the brooklyn show.

Dimetapp drinker
I want them to continue with Spiders, but I do agree with the point of the removal of that track leaving room for 2 or 3 (even 4) shorter ones. Solution - stop having opening bands! Seriously, they don't need opening acts to get people out to the shows or build up audience anticiptation before it. Doors at 7:30, start at 8:00 and just play three hours or whatever the curfew is. Man, I'm tired of curfews. They've got more than enough material. If they need a break, let Glenn loose to unleash hell upon his kit.
phish907
The reworked version of Sunken Treasure with Nels on lap steel is excellent, it was a total surprise at what I consider a very average Indy show at Murat. I also really love Side with the seeds and You are my Face. Overall however, the shows except for the NY run were actually disappointing. Again, just my opinion. W(TF)
For the one I've attended so far (Aronoff), I thought the opener was explosive...Shake It Off. But the band wasn't even warmed up yet. The crowd sure was though! I'd say VC and What Light were the most enjoyable for me, with Spiders not far behind. After that, Handhsake Drugs and WOW were also excellent. The whole show was excellent......
SarahC
I have to say that I was really enjoying Nels' guitar antics in Atlanta. I just keep thinking of him swinging that lap steel around in time to the music when he wasn't playing. It was awesome. It was just cool to see him play so up close. Three dollars and 63 cents
I'm going to want to hear 'Either Way' every time I ever see Wilco live. It's one of my faves from SBS, and it's just so beautiful live I honestly think a show without it would be missing part of it's soul. Maybe the sun will SHINE TODAY! Absolutely. It's been a long time since a song resonated with me the way that Either Way has, and I was so thrilled that they opened with it when I saw them a few weeks ago, because I know they haven't been playing it much. I never get tired of Jesus, Etc. I've also yet to hear two of my favorite Wilco tunes live--Sunken Treasure and Ashes of American Flags.
