explodo
Aren't they just as wide but with a truncated bottom that throws off whatever golden ratio thing they had going on?

OOO
As much as I love how the iPhone/iPod touch works, the whole point of the mp3 player for me is to have EVERYTHING on it... So i do think the classic sounds nice.

augurus
Do you really need a touch screen?Does it make your life any more convenient? Finally, do you really need your iPod to have Wi-Fi capabilities? If you own a iPod, you probably own a computer where you download or rip music. It seems excessive to have Wi-Fi capabilities unless they want to follow suit in the Zune exchange program. And wow, that program failed as quickly as the space shuttle Challenger disaster. If you wanted to listen to music, stick to classic iPod, and if you want everything, get the iPhone. The iTouch just looks like quick cash.
Welsh Rich
Can't see me changing for anything other than the 160GB classic, the others are far too small storage wise and too expensive for what you're actually getting. I want to listen to music, not surf the web in a coffee bar whilst being done from behind...

There's so many other cool things they could do with it... i think the iPod Touch is just to make an iPhone seem more reasonable and necessary honestly...
Jay
I am going through the slow process of ripping my entire collection (probably 25% complete) and it looks like an 80GB would just barely fit everything, though it wouldn't leave much room for growth. So I am glad they came out with a 160GB.
ponch1028
even with 160 gb, my entire catalog wouldn't fit onto one iPod. don't know what that says about me.

a.miller
even with 160 gb, my entire catalog wouldn't fit onto one iPod. don't know what that says about me.I switched to using a Nano after having the first 40gb iPod. I found that with 6000 or 7000 songs, I was hitting skip way too much. Now I just keep all the stuff that I can pretty much listen to all the time.

Spawn's dad
I found finding stuff on a 60gb unwieldy so I can't imagine scrolling through 160 GB.
quarter23cd
I found finding stuff on a 60gb unwieldy so I can't imagine scrolling through 160 GB.I was just thinking the same thing. I've maxed out my 60 and it gets pretty ridiculous trying to find something. As cool as 160 sounds, I couldn't imagine filling it. Then again, if capacity keeps going up, maybe at some point we can just do away with lossy formats so we can kill that debate altogether.
PigSooie
The new ones are going to have a search function that should help with that.

EL the Famous
Whoops. I know only of the green screen. ditto. seriously, not only will this upgrade bring me 4X the memory but thinner design, longer battery life, color, video, etc. I feel like i'm going straight from listening to the Green Hornet on the radio to a plasma HD TV that is playing porn.
