MKHstudios
Great night. While I do not have an exact setlist some highlights included: Pick up the Change, You are my Face, Radio Cure, Hotel Arizona, Misunderstood, Red Eyed>I Got You, Monday, Outtasight. I made a recording tonight, but was excited to be up close (4th row) made a beginner mistake and missed the first couple songs - ouch. Obviously still in recovery from the Riv run. Cool little theater - just under 1600 seats. The sound system (Meyer) was small but was tuned perfectly by Stan and sounded great.
sweetmags
many highlights Impossible Germany was great - so was On And On And On so was just about everything crowd was so stoked, they cheered the line "When all you touch turns to lead" during Misunderstood, which Jeff commented on later - charming the band is on fire

Before too long Jeff realized that they were sans Pat. Somehow Pat just never made it back on stage, but they continued playing the song and looking at each other quizzically. Finally, about two-thirds of the way through (coincidentally, right after his "I check the phone" cue), Pat returned to a big ovation. Haha. Also happened to notice, from a setlist that a girl was holding, that Casino Queen was slated to be the closer. But they were running very short on time, so Outtasite made more sense at that point. A solid, workmanlike show, though it seemed like the crowd energy was a little muted tonight -- at least on the floor (except for the guy next to me who was rocking out so intently that he dropped his cell phone, which smashed into several pieces). Most people stood up for most of the show, so I don't know if it was just the room or what, but it seemed like there was never that huge roar. Or at least few of them. parisisstale
Seeing Mountainbed 2 nights in a row makes me think of the 6/8/04 show when someone shouts out for it & Jeff goes, "I just got out of the hospital, man, I'm not playing Mountainbed....lot of words" (or something close) Thanks for keeping the Residency going through your little Northeast Weekend. 11 tunes tonight that weren't played last night!!!! Can't ask for more than that. A whole weekend without Spiders and Late Greats was a welcome change!!! Being There finale was stellar & the overall sound up close was ridiculous. 1st time I'd seen Pick Up The Change and Hotel Arizona live and they were back to back....Whadda weekend
Wilco Worshipper
The show was incredible!!! I sat right in front of Jeff...*sigh* We had a few bits of conversation here & there so that was cool, too! I was really psyched about all the old stuff they pulled out for us!!! My friend who knows of them but is not a huge fan was quite impressed with them tonight and said she has a new-found respect for them. She was completely mesmerized by Nels!!! I agree the crowd on the floor was sort of mellow at times but it's hard in a small seated venue. I was up front but tried to be respectful as much as possible of others behind me. If it was JUST up to ME, I would've been standing, dancing and shaking the WHOLE time!!! And yes, the set list I grabbed said they were closing w/ Casino Queen but for whatever reason they changed their minds. Other than that, they did stick to it. We hung out a bit at the end and got to meet John, Nels and Glenn!!! Jeff had skipped on by early, so we missed him I saw Walken and finally got to meet raspberryjam
ms. yvon
i love the sets that are getting played! airline -> theologians sounds like a terrific pairing. i got a call tonight during "always in love." man oh man, it was good to be there, if only over the phone. H.Stone
What a great setlist! Always in Love Too bad they all have other lives--I'd love it if they'd just keep touring and touring and touring and touring...
Jerrygarciaparra
The seats at the Schubert are painfully small.
kwhitehead
I agree a bit about the low energy but that was only for about the first 4 or 5 songs. I really thought things picked up from there. I think it may have had somethig to do with a seated venue. First Wilco show and let me say that Glenn and Nels are monsters. Both played stunningly. I was in the mezz as well (third row) and was amazed how close we were. We went to Bar before the show and had a really good white clam pie. At one point I looked a few booths over and swear that I saw Nels sitting there with some folks. We left at 8:05 and he was still there, We walked to the show, sat down and then Nels came out to play a song with John Doe's band. So...I don't think it was him at the restaurant but someone who looked exactly like him (except with big black glasses.) It was weird. Song of the night was "Misunderstood." Atticus Finch
Best setlist I've seen in my 10 shows. Surprises at every corner. They never cease to amaze.
So Long
amazing show! I finally got to meet Jeff afterwards! Such a good setlist!
sprinlercontrolroom
So much for the show being sold out....I called the Box office 2 hrs before the show and got tix in the 4th row mezz! Great show. I was a little surprised that people seemed more psyched to hear SBS stuff rather than gems like Pick up the Change.
RaspberryJam
Great time. It was my first seated venue and it was pretty much what I expected. Good setlist for the room. It sounded great, and Jeff commented on that halfway through. The crowd was a little mellow at the beginning, lots of sitting down, standing up, sitting down, etc. It didn't seem to matter so much with the band, professionals all the way through. They rocked at the end. I would love to get a recording. VERY NICE crowd where I was. Happy to meet YOU, WW! I went ahead and bought the poster, so nice. Pat being MIA was hilarious. I video'd the whole thing. Between the line for swag and using the bathroom, we caught Jeff getting on the bus, just in time to get a photo of his back. All in all, it was awesome! Best band touring, imo.

auctioneer69
Very envious of my peers on the East Coast. Amazing setlists - I'd love to hear the likes of "Mountainbed", "I'm Always on Love" and "Hotel Arizona". It sounds like the band will only play a few festivals after the Australian tour. Fingers crossed that they might play "Sasquatch" in May in Eastern Washington or "Bumbershoot" in Seattle in September.
bböp
Isn't this the third night in a row that's happened? Do you think they're purposely listing more songs than they can play, and then picking/choosing from those? Or do they need someone who's good at math to step in and take charge? (Uyen?) I think they're probably optimistic that they can get to everything, then the clock starts ticking and adjustments have to be made. (I don't know for sure, but I think it gets fairly expensive when a band goes too far over curfew, so that has to be adhered to pretty closely.) BTW, remember when they used to have those setlists that had what I dubbed "the bonus box" on them? Basically a list of songs at the side that they could choose to substitute in or not depending on time/the crowd/etc. I guess they don't need that now since, technically, they know everything in the catalog. Three dollars and 63 cents
Oh wow, what a great setlist. It's great to see them mixing it up. I would've loved to have heard Radio Cure. That's pretty funny that Pat disappeared. I can't help but think of that part in This Is Spinal Tap where they're all lost between the dressing room and the stage.
