I captured it. I almost missed The Lonely 1. I thought the stream was done, and i hit record just in time before the song started up. Did any of you guys get the same silent gap i did after Spiders? I left the room for a minute during that, and when i came back, there was silence. Then I heard Jeff talk about Glenn's unfortunate accident! :lol

The sound was pretty much flawless for this one.

I usually don't bother listening to the webcasts because the sound isn't as good as most audience recordings these days (at least in my opinion)--they're usually sort of tinny and compressed-sounding. But this one sounded full and rich and well-mixed. I wonder if it's because they had fewer people tuned in, or if they're just getting better at this webcast thing. Anyway, I'm glad they did it and glad you captured it, Col.

> What was the reprimand after She's A Jar? My speakers suck.

it was about the harp solo, which anyone could do. there was some girl in the audience cheering after each one. i knew jeff would coment on this cause he kept looking at her. so, i took a movie of it and will post it soon

> We gotta have an acuff for the frog.

alas, it didnt happen. from memory, he sang a different lyric in Pot kettle black and stared at me as he did it.

more info (and photos) soon... tired now. great show all around. the bit about Glenn hitting his balls was funny when when Jeff said americans would wake up to this news. we got backstage after it and followed the band to a nearby bar after that where the fun really started. you should have seen Pat strutting his stuff on the dance floor :lol

another great Wilco night. got to meet them all except for Jeff this time. and certain americans that came down here this time, the band knows ALL about you :lol

ps: Drones as a support act... bleh, not for me. between one of their songs, someone in the audience yelled out "the comedy festival is just down the road". the singer asked "what was that". the guy replied "you heard me!". they were just a bunch of noise (and like he referred to them, a joke).. sorry fans!

off to bed now... it was a great day with the autum defense in the afternoon and the real stuff in the evening.

Live webcast from Australia--7am EST--on WilcoWorld.

WTF, am I a B-lister?

I got the wilcoworld email at 1240 am today. Not really enough notice for those of us who don't check email 40 times a day.
