bobbob1313
Walk offs are awesome. God, I do love this team. If Josh Johnson pitches well when he comes back, this is a playoff team.

Smokestack Joe
Hey baseball fans, vote for RYAN BRAUN for the All-Star Game!!! He deserves to start over Fukudome. Better numbers, better player, more deserving. VOTE BRAUN!!
bobbob1313
Yeah, there are a lot of players who deserve to start in the all star game. You can make a legitimate argument that none of the starters in the outfield in the NL deserve to be there.
MrRain422
I just voted for: Dunn, Ludwick, Braun. None of them will actually start the game though.

Duck-Billed Catechist
Wow, must be a bad year at DH if you put Thome on there. Dye is the wrong Chicago outfielder. The guy who is doing a little bit better is not on the ballot. I would bitch about the process of compiling the ballots at the beginning of spring training, but the real silliness is that the White Sox even thought about playing Jerry Owens over Carlos Quentin. MrRain422
Yeah, no real solid DH's this year. Thome is actually not doing terrible though, so long as you don't give undue weight to batting average. He's still getting on base at a .355 tick and his OPS+ is 121, which isn't great by his standards but still pretty good. And yeah, C Quentin is the best Sox outfielder this year and will likely end up on the reserve roster.
cryptique
Agreed -- early finalization of the ballots is a joke. Hopefully Quentin will be selected by the AL manager, as he deserves. Felix Pie's been in the minors for quite a while now.

VOTE BRAUN!!I would if I hadn't already exhauseted my 25 votes about a month ago. I guess I should have saved some for the end of voting in case there were close ones. I voted early on; just voted Atlanta Braves and Tampa Bay Rays down the line becuase they're my favorite teams. Did not expect the Rays to be the better team this time of the year. Lammycat
Welp. TB sure looks good. Their pitching is right up there. Fear the DRays. This is the first year I can remember not caring to switch over to check the score of NYY games during BOS game commercials yet the DRays now cloud my brain.
