Yeah. I need this like I need a heartbeat - maybe some kind family member will think about this for a birfday present.

I hadn't heard anything about this coming out but saw it yesterday. Is it essential? I am not generally big on live albums.

imo it is...

the sound is amazing, and it's hard to imagine this was an OPENING set!

and people complain about Tweedy shushing

Ha. That was my thought too.

"Shhh. Shhh. Shhh. Will you stop talking at the back . It's too loud . It's putting us off the song here."

:lol

Most definitely. It's the first thing I think of when music and Shea are mentioned. Fantastic album.

Weren't The Clash opening for The Who at the show mentioned above? Also, what makes this Clash show so much better than others I have? Not a rhetorical question, I'm curious is all.

Correct, they opened for The Who. As for the album, well it marked the last time the foursome pictured on it played together I think. They are not a great live album band though, I think anyway. It's a definite case of "had to be there" kind of experience.
